Hi, strictly speaking wild camping is not permitted on the Canary Islands, but I and many others have pitched our tents here many nights without any problems. Pick a secluded spot, set up late and break up early, and leave nothing but footprints!
Mooie film weer! Een sprankje van Spanje opvangen doet goed deze dagen. Heb je toevallig ook de wandeling naar Playa de Güi Güi kunnen doen? Dat vond ik zelf een hele mooie plek. Over het gas: enig idee wat er mis ging? Hoe zou je het oplossen als je het opnieuw zou doen?
Please share more details about the GR131 that runs through Gran Canaria, where do we download the files and is it all wild camping or are there huts you can sleep in along the way?

No huts, but wild camping - while illegal - is possible. And you can find gpx files with an easy Google search. ;)
