From my experience teaching hula in several different countries and to several different age groups she is not that bad. Yes she is a little stiff in some areas, however, overall her presentation and intensity is spot on. This is an intense hula not an ego hula like some may suggest. Nicely done... work on fluidity a little more and you will do great. Mahalo Nui Loa for sharing our culture in a POSITIVE way and form. Aloha

AWESOME PRAYER DANCE. Replace the vid guy cause he missed a lot of full body movement; therefore complete body motion prayers. There should be a camera for closeups & 3 vid camers placed at triangular locations with d dancer in d center for full body motion recording. It made d event less spectacular n unprofessional.
When you don’t film her whole body the whole time, it allows for a level of protection of the dance - so that others who have not put in the same dedication and hours of study cannot copy or duplicate, or also steal the mana/power of the dance without truly understanding it. This lineage of dancing is very special and I’m surprised that even this video exists here on RUclips ❤️.

This is a terrible video. Hula is about the communication of the dance, not the ego of the performer.
