Actually, normalizing it makes it less taboo and fun. As long as you are not swearing AT someone, or about someone, I think you're better off not tiptoeing around it. My sister tried to raise my niece in a no-swear environment, but she forgot the rest of the world swears, and that just made my niece latch onto that type of thing more. When she finally gave up and stopped making it a big deal that nobody swear around my niece, she stopped doing it. She's 12, and doesn't swear ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

Here's you money, it will help you to get a solid start in your new life life outside your old home. And we helped you to learn to always keep some money aside to pay real rent." I cried. I understood. And really profited in many was. Today I am still grateful for their actions and I will do the same for my son, when he's grown up.
Seeing Dwayne Johnson reminded me of the movie he starred in called 'The Smashing Machine'....... it's a true story about Mark Kerr who is a former heavy weight wrestler/kick boxer. Dwayne is an incredible actor - I mean incredible!!!!! Emily Blunt (I LOVE her) plays his girlfriend in it. I watched it on HBO Max - you've gotta see it! When I started dating my wife, I met her parents the first time at their house for a small birthday party they had for her mom and it was very overwhelming. So I then flipped the script and invited them to my parents house for one of my mom's big holiday parties. They curled up in the corner and looked like they might cry. My parents and their friends kept constantly coming over and trying to give them food or start up random conversations, and the house was packed so it was so loud, which I found out later they can't handle that. And my parents are a bit older than hers, so my mom kept 'mothering' her mom, which was hilarious. It was definitely a turning point, they never tried to intimidate me again!
