As an artist, it's shitty when you lease a beat thinking its original only to find out, when uploading, that the sample wont clear. It really shouldn't become a problem, but on the off chance it does become a problem, you should at least let the artist know that it does include a sample and to just hit you up if they ever need to clear it. Make sure your license agreement places the responsibility of clearing the sample onto the artist. But even with the license agreement and everything, still doesn't protect you from the infringement of posting the beat online even before selling it to an artist.
