I get Q has to recover costs, for the cost of innovation, overhead etc… making it lightweight and everything… but at $350 is stretching it even for me. And I own several Q products, including a sugar weasel, and a honey badger, Erectors Thunder Chicken and this is even hard for me to justify. I just can’t justify over $200 for a hunk of aluminum bipod regardless of the weight reduction.
Not sure on the bolt dims of the bipod, but PodLok is what you need. Think lever with a tension that allows ratcheting to put you in a tension range that works and is quick adjustable.
For the price, I'll stick with my atlas cal gen2. doesn't come loose, pushes the bipod further forward, has more cant adjustment, mounts directly to 17s mounts like that RRS, and is cheaper. Weighs more, but it's negligible when you are running a full length arca rail.
The two biggest irritatants for me regarding ANY bipod; Without a doubt, the wiggle when not in use, and the dawgawn sharp angles/catch points. Very tough things to engineer just right without being uberspensive. A third but lesser issue that can be dealt with relatively easy is as you mentioned, the mounting style. I wish all bipods were QD in some form or fashion. Appreciate your work Ivan!

350 + Tax + Ship for an aluminum bipod with no features is insane.
Just buying the name.

Love The Fix videos!
Really annoyed that they haven't put out the Q Sert AR handgaurds / rifles yet
For sure I’m actually kind of annoyed that they don’t have a retrofit option for the honey badger.
