It would be illegal if shein workers are being kidnapped and forced to work. They CHOSE to work there and they see that they are getting paid one dollar per hour and CHOOSE to stay. They can quit anytime and find a different job.

Also they waste a lot of their products and damage the earth by dumping all the unused products into the earth and they don’t consider recycling and reusing
@@aylin.3945 they don't provide transparent info about their supply chain so it is impossible to know the working conditions in their factories are fair, they've been caught lying and using false info about their labour conditions (claiming certifications they didn't have), they have been found in violation of multiple countries' slave labour laws, they engage in CONSTANT thieving of other designer's work and have been sued by Ralph Lauren, Levi and Doc Martens for stolen designs (so imagine how much they are stealing from smaller designers - google "shein stolen designs"), a professor found 20x the amount of legally allowed lead in their children's clothing, they promote unethical overconsumption by producing 2,000+ new designs every day (more than any other fashion company), fashion is already responsible for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions, their low price point and thousands of products encourage people to buy "disposable" clothing and contribute to tens of millions of pounds of textile waste, they use advertising tactics, promote haul videos and use insanely low prices to encourage an addictive form of shopping unless you have literally zero money to spend on clothes and even then, you can absolutely do better than a shady, secretive, thieving company that makes the world's cheapest clothes and other crap
