Dude I’m impressed with Oli’s vocals here. His singing is actually on point here it just seems like he’s trying to figure out his screams throughout the song. Like he hasn’t been doing them much and just needs practice. But he’s just jamming having a good time 👍
different style...he's going for that deftones really pure fry scream now...almost sounds like a whistle scream. very easy on the vocals chords but very hard to learn. much easeier on his chords than the raspy shouting he did sempiternal days.
To be fair some of those screams were Dani Filth on the studio version.

@@topsykreets_ oli isn't the best singer around but he can still do his stuff very well. He may not be doing any ptv or SWS covers anytime soon and i'm sure slaves is definitely off the table but that's not Oli's thing. His music isn't about beautiful vocal harmonies or trying to have melodies, he is more of an anthemic writer where he wants people to be able to chant and yell along with him. He is open and he's raw and he's harsh. That's what makes him who he is.
He's doing well, but his screams,growls, and lows are nowhere near the 'suicide season' etc era
