Dude I’m impressed with Oli’s vocals here. His singing is actually on point here it just seems like he’s trying to figure out his screams throughout the song. Like he hasn’t been doing them much and just needs practice. But he’s just jamming having a good time 👍
different style...he's going for that deftones really pure fry scream now...almost sounds like a whistle scream. very easy on the vocals chords but very hard to learn. much easeier on his chords than the raspy shouting he did sempiternal days.
To be fair some of those screams were Dani Filth on the studio version.

Gosh, I still love that last chorus. The orchestral part that comes in during sounds so Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Oingo Boingo-esque. Really unique.

I think everyone can enjoy this new type of music. sometimes a big heavy sometimes cool catchy chorus. They really evolved. idk if there is still hate for them, but damn they can't go back to styles that are agonizing. All the random core from early 2000 to 2012-2013 had not enough supports because we got older and had responsibilities. They had to evolve one way or another. The more they became soft, the more fan they attracted while staying epic and improving their creativity. It's not a garage band anymore.
His high screams have definitely deteriorated tho I will say they are unique. Everything else is solid.
