That powered up Starlight's attack was so anti-climatic, shit didn't even scratch Soldier Boy
His body can tank it's own power. Starlight ain't gonna do shit.
That was hilarious

@@Agent-57 They should have at least showed damage to his armor.
@@ImAlsoMerobiba His Armor also takes his own blasts. So most likely a very heat resistant material
The last scene always reminds me of, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters”
Well that's because it is based off that, they homelander into Trump.
It's a direct reference. Just like many many many other ones throughout the show. Like the politics in the show are really on the nose, especially for season 2 & 3.
soldier boy was the only real one, committed to his word and his mission
Realest mofo in the show
how tf do people like you miss the entire point of a character so badly. he's literally a white supremacist
@@Kosiduss fuck white supremacists, it doesn’t change the fact that they needed SB to get rid of HL 100% and it doesn’t change the fact that the season finale was poorly written
True!! But i kinda understand why butcher wants to protect the kid. It's his wife's last who he loves the most. So, kinda understandable.
@@Kosiduss He's a "Soldier Boy supremacist", just like Homelander. Stormfront and Blue Hawk were white supremacists. Soldier Boy is a piece of sh1t, but he's true to himself unlike Homelander, Maeve, Butcher, Hughie and Annie.
My guess is that Mallory is going to have her people study the specific radiation that Soldier Boy puts out, now that they have him in captivity, and once they isolate the radiation that neutralizes V, they'll develop some kind of guns or devices that put out that radiation, so they can de-power supes. Then the Boys can de-power them one by one, even Ryan, but de-powering Homelander will probably take some kind of sacrifice. It'll be a lot better than how the comic ended, no matter how they do it.
I do hope that in the next season, they make butcher more villainous than homelander in the sense that we should've be more terrified of butcher than homelander, like I can totally see it,cause if you've read the comics, you know who's worse between homelander and butcher.
@@aaditkhan728 The show has gone a different direction with almost every character, and I think it'll stay that way. They've made Butcher more of a tragic character than a monster, so I think he'll choose to destroy himself or sacrifice himself just to kill Homelander. Now that he's dying from the Temp V, I can't really see it ending any other way.
@@Subjectivity13 yeah but I feel like now that he's only got months to live,he'll continue to be an asshole and potentially become a monster throughout season 4 upto the point where there would be no difference between homelander and him and at the end of the season, they'll both kill each other.
Actually, Homelander acted out of impulse. He was not considering the consequences and obviously was surprised the first few seconds when people cheered - then he realized what Stormfront said was right. You don't need five million fans, you just need 5,000 soldiers fighting for you.
Don't tell Trump, he would make that real 😮
only flaw i had with this season was Maeve living. It lessened her sacrifice and kind of ruined the severity of the tension. She deserves a happy ending, but she could have went out as a true hero. Shows need to know when to kill off characters
Agreed. Even A-train faking us out TWICE was a low point in an otherwise fantastic show.
It should've been Noir, his ending was so pointless
Still better than Marvel and DC shit.
You’re not a fucking writer. Watching shit doesn’t make you one. Your opinion is meaningless and lazy.
At first I felt that way too, but if you think about it, Maeve dying from Benny's blast makes no sense. It didn't kill Kimiko and Maeve is prabably stronger. I was more surprised that Honelander's lasers did nothing to her, but if she can take that, she can take Soldier Boy's thing.
It was funny how Starlight shined her eyes the whole season and when she was finally going to do something, Soldier Boy just slapped her and it was over for her 😂

soldier boy could control that blast. we saw it with kimiko. that last one was his last resort to killing everyone around him since he realize everyone in that scene was his enemy.
If that’s true that just makes Butcher betraying Soldier Boy even stupider, the one guy who could kill Homelander and you betrayed him over Ryan, yeah I know Butcher made that promise to Becca but we’ve seen that Butcher ain’t above betraying his friends, breaking promises, or killing children, he detonated that c4 at Mallory’s house while her baby was right there and the only reason the baby isn’t dead is because of Homelander which also didn’t make sense because he hated the baby and doesn’t give a shit about innocents or collateral damage, the writers just needed an excuse to keep Homelander around and they chose a really stupid one
@@Destino2493 Imean, butcher could have just grabbed ryan out of the way, so soldier can make the blast only on homelander, but that is too much asking plotwise from this show, they need to win more money making s4
@@Destino2493if you are talking about the C4 at stillwell’s house: Teddy Stillwell (the baby) is seen in red river (the supe orphanage) where he has teleportation powers. I believe the news report said he was found alone miles away after the explosion unharmed. The most logical explanation is that Teddy instinctively saved himself from the blast by teleporting himself. It doesn’t make sense for Homelander to rescue teddy then abandon him in a random place (or really even rescue him in the first place). Plus homelander would have to be crazy fast to rescue butcher and Teddy. We have also seen babies using their powers when distressed and had the connection between powers and emotions talked about so it’s not crazy that Teddy hearing a loud bang and seeing a bright flash scared him and so he reflexively teleported himself far away.
@@cahan557 Teddy saving himself also doesn’t make much sense because it would require him to A: Have the specific super power needed to save himself B: an infant being able to react at the exact fucking moment the c4 detonates and save himself which is ridiculous, an infant doesn’t know what an explosion is or that it’s a threat so we’re counting on Teddy knowing this to save himself, the writers didn’t realize the damage they did to Butcher by having the events play out the way it did, even if you wanna believe that explanation Butcher had no way of knowing any of that was gonna happen he didn’t even know the kid was a supe, and if he learned off screen somehow someway then not including it is a massive fuck up and the writers would have to explain how he knew it. so they tried to come up with some bullshit explanation that relies on a ton of contrivances and the writers also don’t ever mention this incident again because they know they fucked up and don’t have any of the characters question Butcher about what happened.
@@Destino2493 I agree that finishing season 1 it seems that the writers did imply homelander saved Teddy because there was no mention of Teddy being a supe. But we do see Teddy in season 3 and he does have teleportation powers. It also does make sense that Madelyn would make her son a supe. I think as far as retcons go, it was a pretty good one.
Its possible Teddy teleported himself before the C4 even went off since he was in the room when homelander put two holes in Madelyn’s skull and the lasers, shouting or his mother’s distress might have all scared him. The characters didn’t react to that though so that could just be a flaw in the retcon or he did teleport when the C4 went off. The C4 explosion would be incredibly bright and loud a baby would 100% be scared of it even if it doesn’t understand the concept of explosives or an explosion the same way dogs can get frightened by fireworks.
I don’t know what you mean about Butcher knowing Teddy was a supe. He didn’t then and he probably doesn’t know now. Only Hughie saw Teddy at red river and he likely never made the connection between the surnames since he wasn’t that involved in the death of Madelyn. He fully intended to kill Teddy alongside Madelyn (although notably, it was homelander who brought Teddy downstairs but he still would have likely died as a non-supe upstairs).
That smile by Ryan at the end 😈
That was like the ending of The Omen.
Brightburn has arrived.
This emoji does in fact scarily resemble his smile
Have to agree with Maeve's own statement that she is not a hero. She just threw a bottle of extremely deadly nerve agent into a NY street. That thing could kill hundreds.
I always saw her as a supe mirror for Butcher. Both were good people who got corroded over time into people who had messy morals. That's why it kind of bothers me when people immediately shit on Butcher while hailing Queen Maeve as, well, a "queen". Both have done very questionable things in their lives for the sake of getting by.
@@sets445 Most of what Maeve did was stand by while Homelander did what he did. Butcher one other hand is closer to being Homelander himself as he's actively doing bad things.
Respect to soldier boy. Only one who stuck the mission
24:03 Y’all can just not stop justifying A-Trains actions 😭
And BL, people just dont understand that you're not supposed or empathize with any of them lol
I'm sure there's an obvious reason
@@NeoXtheXbio Who's BL
@@HonestOpinions4u Yep.
I don't see how they're justifying A-Train's actions at all? This is about Homelander's actions, not A-Train's.
All of Solder Boy’s blasts were straight out from wherever he faced, but the last was just a big, wide explosion. That’s probably because, unlike any of the other times, someone (Maeve) physically interfered, basically, and literally, throwing him off his aim. Basically, whatever he sees in front of him gets blown away, but, maybe, while falling, he and Maeve were spinning, rolling, and tumbling around. Or, it could even be that Maeve just completely blocked the path of his blast, causing it to spill out everywhere in an explosion.
Remember without Butcher no one would be trying to take the Supes down...No one
I think there are other Butchers in the world. Maybe they wouldn't be as successful as him but eventually new people would be willing to fight. For sure.
i mean mallory got frenchie and MM
no thats not how it works.
What fun to watch them ignore the fact that Black Noir is a complete POS, just because he is less of a POS than Soldier Boy and Homelander. All those people in the Lagos Hard Rock are rolling over in their graves ;-
Yeah they tend to completely forget the bad of characters when they do anything that makes them sympathetic. Like how they still care so much about the A-Trian plot, but will dog pile on Deep even when he hasn’t done anything close to what they both did in season 1
I mean you can still consider someone a piece of shit while still feeling sorry for the character. I don't think BN is a good guy at all but nevertheless like him and feel sympathy/get his motives.
you dont seem to understand his character
@@mymaynee5963 His character is being mentally ill who shows no remorse for the killing of others and is only driven of his own selfish goals. He’s just Homelander without the will to act
Same with A-Train.
The smile at the end from Ryan was the perfect ending for this season.
You're all caught up! Enjoyed experiencing the show again through your reaction vids.
I love the show and know why Homelander can't die as a character -- his villainy is arguably more important than any of the Boys -- but I wasn't a big fan of the way they wrote the third act in this episode. Separately, I like Homelander being alive and what next season may bring for him, and I also like Butcher and Maeve both realizing Ryan deserves their protection. It's also great how Soldier Boy turned on Homelander and that speech about him being a huge disappointment.
But I dunno, getting to that point then just having the season's final fight be Solider Boy vs Butcher was disappointing. Kinda wrote themselves into a corner where that had to happen but it didn't feel up to par as the rest of the season. And everything around Starlight realizing her super ability was dope until all she was able to do was push Solider Boy down -- that felt very anti-climactic for me as well.
I hate how everybody just turned on Soldier Boy and let Homelander do his thing. It's so bizarre. He literally was only there to honor his arrangement with butcher and had already eliminated his team. Butcher really showed what a little snitch he is in this episode, without any honor.
How do you not get that the plan changed for Butcher the second he found out Ryan was there?
@@Xone9 honestly it would have been best if they killed Ryan with Homelander. Those two are way to dangerous to be alive imo.
@@Xone9 because he was being a hypocrite. Soldier Boy literally said it to him in the episode.
@@Xone9but if kimiko can take his blast, Ryan would have too…. Maeve also took a huge fall after loosing her power…. It’s very inconsistent. Only reasoning would be that the power is lost gradually after the blast…. Heroes who doesn’t have much physical resilience would die instantly…. Kimiko took the blast but was thrown into debris… and maeve being way more powerful took the fall before her powers were completely drained
@@Xone9 Butcher blew up a baby in season 1 when he detonated the c4, only reason the baby is alive is because Homelander saved it which makes no sense because he hated the baby and doesn’t give a shit about innocent lives (like the people on the plane) but the writers needed to absolve Butcher from having that blood on his hands, after that how do you justify Butcher basically dooming the world to save Ryan? The son of the man who raped his wife and also killer her yes it was an accident but he is at fault, saying it was because of his promise to Becca isn’t a good enough reason when we’ve seen Butcher lie, betray and break promises multiple times throughout the show, and by betraying Soldier Boy and saving Homelander he’s lost the only ally who could’ve killed Homelander, he’s now let Ryan fall under Homelanders influence which was the absolute worse case scenario and what they’ve been fighting to prevent, the writers needed to find a way to keep Homelander alive and have Ryan join him and they chose an incredibly stupid way to do it

don't mind me, just binging every reaction of the boys you've done until I get to this one
Since they aren't using the ending from the comics I see there being five seasons tops since we know the final fight will now be between Butcher and Homelander. Each season is roughly a year in universe and Butcher has around 12 months left to live unless he takes Compound V. Honestly prefer the comics ending due to the fact Noir plays the most important role in the entire series at the end.
1:04 it still boggles my mind that everyone gave Hughie and Butcher so much shit for choosing to take the V, but when Kimiko did it for the exact same reason no one batted an eye
one of them is labeled "toxic masculinity" while the other is "girl power"
not to mention neither Butcher or Hughie went on a killing spree of normal humans after taking the V like Kimiko did multiple times
If you wanted to know specific times when they took doses hughie took 4 and butcher took 7, hughie did in russia, then at crimson countess' place then herogasm and then to get mindstorm, butcher did the first day where he passed out, then to get gunpowder, then russia, then countess place, herogasm and mindstorm and then the final battle vs homelander
It was only 6 for Butcher.

On the end, Soldier Boy was the real one, when it comes to his word, he was ready!
46:25 Not all heroes have the same strength and durability. Maeve is (or I guess was) one the strongest on the show. Notice how most characters fear Homelander but Maeve & Soldier Boy don’t because they can hold their own against him. Homelander can’t easily kill them like he does with other characters. Maeve only feared what he would do to Elena (Maeve’s girlfriend).
Pretty sure Maeve stopped fearing him because she got depressed and stopped caring about herself. But of course she could protect herself somewhat compared to others.
@@Nekotaku_TV To me it never looked or seemed like she ever feared him. Even in Season 1 she stood up to him to defend Starlight

Can anybody tell me where this unfounded believe in Black Noirs good nature comes from? Because we saw his two scenes of his recalling of being bullied by SoldierBoy and young Edgar eating nuts in front of him? So what, just about all of the characters in this movie have a fucked up upbringing, doesn't excuse what they do. And Noir has been shown and talked about being a ruthless killer, hell in his talk with Edgar the VP said that Noir should be facing war criminal charges for what he did in the Hard Rock Café in Lagos. He's pretty old by now if he was in SoldierBoys crew when he was betrayed to the russians, and apparently he's into just as much shit as everybody else at Vought. He just doesn't talk, lol.
w-o m-e-n dont speak of anything bad when there is black coz they are p******
I hope u guys watch Gen V
I think this was explained by Kripke. Soldier Boy’s blast burns the V out of your system. People like Homelander and Maeve were pumped full it of as babies so have more it in their bodies than other Supes. This means Soldier Boy’s blast would take longer to effect those with a ton of V in their system, which Homelander and Maeve have a metric fuck ton of in their bodies. So Maeve could’ve even hit the ground with V still in her body, only for it to be burned away as Soldier Boy’s radiation receded.
It’s crazy how you feel bad about Black Noir. After all he tried to kill Starlight and kidnapped Maeve.
Maeve did force feed Noir some nuts lol so kind of deserved
for all he knew, he was about to kill a fugitive starlight.
Black Noir is missing like a third of his brain. Wouldn’t be too hard on the guy, his personality probably took a 180 turn after that beating.
@@keegangreenwood1889 she did it to save starlight

Homelander wins again
That last big fight... where things got complicated.
If you'll notice when Soldier Boy and Butcher first attacked Homelander, he did not even fight back. Not even a little. He just was quietly begging Soldier Boy not to do it. And then when Soldier Boy attacked Ryan, Homelander turned his back to every one of his enemies to check on Ryan's well-being. He was down on the floor with his back to them, completely vulnerable... prioritizing his son. I think Ryan is the only person he truly cares about besides himself.
There's a part of me that wonders if Ryan is going to end up being the Big Bad in the end, in some way. Like imagine Homelander approaching the Boys like, "So this monster I created out of my son is going to end the world in a child-appropriate but ABSOLUTELY NUCLEAR tantrum if you don't help me get him under control".
Would be interesting. :P
“He took the V” bro did you not see him with the freaking laser eyes in the fight?

Starlight's power-up moment was really anti-climactic. But not a disappointing episode, just frustrating with Ryan and the mess.
And that ending is so messed up... there's no way so many would cheer for that though. But people sure can be disgusting in the real world.
Season 4 doesn't have a date but they started filming last year, and season 5 is confirmed too. Hype!
Good thing this is fiction
This show was one of the best iterations of the superhero genre imo. This season was a blast, literally, the only thing I did not like was Butcher's decision to turn on Soldier Boy like I get it, he was gonna blast Ryan too but after we find out Maeve survived Soldier Boy's blast, and she was the 2nd strongest member of the Seven, so surely, if she survived the blast, Homelander AND Ryan would've survived too which makes Butcher's actions kinda stupid. Obviously Butcher didn't know if Ryan could take the blast but still come on, they definitely could've taken out Homelander this episode. But Homelander still remains a threat and excited for more of his acting in s4.
the comments make me so happy i’ve never interacted with the fandom until now cause y’all got some weird ass opinions 😭

Homelander was only protecting his super-powered son from that empty beer can!
In the Comic's Noir was a stronger clone of Homelander built to overthrow him if Homelander got out of control. He basically would try and make Homelander lose his mind by taking pics & videos committing acts of fucked up shit just so he'd make Homelander go off the deep end so that Noir could fulfil his purpose by killing him.
2:07 respect to Sam for not assuming the worst for once lol
hope you guys react to the animated series and spin off that's coming out soon
I don't think I've seen a fumble like this in a series in a while. Instantly goes against the entire plan, gets rid of SB, let's HL get away, and creates another one in the process while Butcher is killing himself for nothing. It's ridiculous lol. They honestly deserve Homelander's reign after that
Literally all because he was mean to Ryan in that one episode
tbh you're overthinking it. This was them saying we can save the real mission success for another season which allows for more screen time from both homelander and soldier boy who the writers probably knew made a killer performance enough to drag out some.

They pretty obviously get the the show as a whole. You seem to be oblivious to what they think about it.
The finale ruined the season for me. Nior had this built up development that ended up going nowhere, Butcher gives up on Homelander to fight Soldier Boy out of the blue, Maeve has this amazing self-sacrifice that completes her character arc but survives with no explanation given...it felt like they brought in a new writing team for the finale. Such a letdown.
neuman gave Homelander the location of Ryan and Homelander gave her compound V. quid pro quo
Actually I think the deal was Homelander gets Ryan’s location and The Deep drowns the VP candidate.
The Only Thing I Hated About ‘The Boys’ Is Not Enough Queen Maeve!
The saga continues with Gen V next. Can’t wait for your reaction, it’s canon and on par with The Boys and ties directly into season 4 of The Boys.
It’s still funny how Starlight’s power is basically just a flashbang
Y’all be talking about the main characters about how annoying they are, but completely ignore what villains do lol Noir deserved to die he wasn’t a saint.
I actually like soldier boy a bit. But it was kind of cool seeing Homelander and Butcher work together for that brief moment. In that moment... Ryan was important. And They both care for him... Even if homelander is twisted..
The one person more in-killable than Homelander is Soldier Boy
Of course they are literally same
I swear soldier boy was done dirty and it was dumb for there reasoning first of all soldier boy wasn’t even racist he was just reckless and an asshole but even then it’s not like that would’ve been a problem anymore especially if his whole team dies then he’ll probably just live out the rest of his life In basically retirement
He disrupted and attack civil rights protestors, and yet he's somehow not racist.

This intro is my new favorite intro. Edit: I just remembered Sam's gossipy intro. This is my second favorite intro.
No supe healer to help A-Train's brother? What kinda campaign is this?
There’s no logical reason Maeve should have lived, but I remember the show writers saying that they didn’t want another LGBTQ character to have an unhappy ending. While I agree with the sentiment, I think black noir should have been the one to tackle soldier boy out of the instead if they wanted to go with that reason.
Her-i mean he could've just told hughie instead of punching him.
Me-tell me you don't know shit about butcher without telling me you don't know shit about butcher.
It wasn't just because it was Butcher's style either. In my opinion, one of the biggest reasons he didn't just tell Hughie to just stop taking the V is because he knew Hughie would never let him take it either. Butcher was all ready to do his kamikaze mission and he knew the only one who would try to stop him because they cared about him was Hughie.
@@sets445 I mean while that is true I believe butcher did it because of his flashback with Lenny in ep 7,like Lenny told him literally that you brought hughie down to your own level and one day he will die because of you and then there will be no one left to stop you, like what you're saying is somewhat true but I think butcher did it because of what Lenny told him.

And maeve survived that surely homelander and Ryan will not have died but they will be powerless and normal but butcher sucked that
Maeve survived because reasons...
Genuinely amusing how mad they get over how things develop. I mean, I think some storytelling decisions (Maeve going away, Black Noir dying pointlessly) in the finale weren't great, but the entire journey of this series so far has been extremely smart and enjoyable. I don't understand why people were so critical of them trying to stop an asshole like Soldier Boy from killing whoever he wanted. He wasn't going to listen to reason after Butcher explained everything. He's the defintion of toxic masculinity, which is basically the entire theme of Season 3. Butcher, MM, Frenchie, Hughie, and of course Homelander are all dealing with their own forms of trauma, and fighting Soldier Boy is kind of the representation of trying to grow past it.
Well, not exactly whoever he wanted, just his team really. And it's not like it would be such a bad thing, they're supes and really shitty ones at that. I dunno, it might just be my own opinion but shitty people killing other shitty people isn't the worst thing to me.
@@sets445 He was willing to kill Ryan too
No more mad than some of the comments in these RUclips sections, lmao.
The boys was renewed for season 4.
The Head-popper and Hughie are an item in real life.
She makes my head pop
20:44 and now that he’s dead and you guys aren’t likely to read the comics.. black noir is the evil villain of the comics all along.
Genuinely a literal baby eating monster.
That's probably why Black Noir is returning.
35:05 Soldier boy literally murdered lots and lots of people and his racism is what MM calls out? The Boys is pretty good but some of the writing is SO trash
I don't think it really matters what M.M calls him. He just hates Soldier Boy with all his heart. He hates him so much that he even did irrational things.
I actually hated Maeve living it made the “Sacrifice” feel so empty at least write that whole part out and make it Noir who dies saving everyone instead of just him dying for nothing and we need more powerful supes in the boys cause Annie is weak asf😂Her whole charge for absolutely nothing🤣Kimiko is gonna have to hard carry if we can’t pop temp V overall I feel like most people that they kinda dropped the ball on this finally kinda disappointing hopefully next season is just as good cause the rest of this season was fire!!
I’m still mad that they switched up on soldier boy. Like I get it gotta save Ryan but still could’ve just got him out the way and jump homelander. Like Ryan was unconscious for majority of the fight and if they are jumping homelander they pry would’ve been able to get it done
I felt for Black Noir, but I really hate Queen Maeve. I can't understand why someone would love and cry for such an insensitive, cynical woman. It also makes no sense that she was almost able to kill Homelander all by herself but always whined about how intimidated she was by him and that she feared him. Because seeing her immense power almost equalling Homelander's, she could have stood up to him along time ago.
React to Firefly!!!!😘😘
Oh they're all on shorts, yeah this is my video RUclips thanks , you can drop me off right here
Underestimating Maeve all throughout uggh Maeve dont need help. She can beat Homelander
I wish the show came up with the idea that Starlight can burn the eyes of Homelander, Soldier Boy and Victoria. Her powers can be useful so I don't know why the show holds her back. We know these Supes are not strong from the insides. Season 4 is definitely about the white house arc and Homelander takeover the entire world with Supes army
Tbh the show holds a lot of things from the comics back
She can't burn homelander's eyes you idiot 😂💀... there's no way you're that dumb broski.... homelander LITERALLY shoots lasers from his eyes and his lasers are much hotter than starlight's.
Homelander's insides are completely indestructible. Stop lying. Neuman can't explode homelander because his insides are rock hard.
@@user-xr3ul2xc1l My guy. Maeve shoved a rod inside his ear🤨. His insides aren't that strong so nope he ain't indestructible🤣
@@mahad813 1. The straw was metal
2. Maeve is the reason his ear started bleeding, not the straw, if someone is strong enough, they can make anything pierce someone's insides. Get a brain dckhead. He shoots lasers from his eyes, HOW is that? How can you shoot lasers without your eyes being indestructible.
Noticed many comments on here driven by typical unwarranted binary thinking with a large helping of unconscious bias leaning to the right, overtly criticising the female heroes such as Starlight? I guess this is the current climate, there is no masking it these days. We all know this show so far is a play upon on reality in the toxic climate of current US politics! Such a great show operating on many levels. Loving the ‘React Packs’ passionate reviews of this show, and see they must have to bite their tongues knowing its relevance in reality. All seasons have been full throttle, just hoping the fourth season does not fall flat.
Yeah this finale made no sense.Butcher could have told Soldier Boy to not harm the kid and ignore him, like when he did the same thing to save MM from being attacked by him. Soldier Boy was shown to have listened before. They could have ganged up on Homelander, defeated him, then put Soldier Boy to sleep later with Novichok. After all, Homelander has no known weakness, while Soldier Boy did.
Nah that wouldn't have worked. MM only amused Soldier Boy and never actually hurt him but Ryan did. He wouldn't have let that slide just because Butcher asked him to. And besides, Soldier Boy was hellbent on killing the twins so he wasn't gonna waste his time on a normal human he didn't even remember.
9:45 Well seems like you didn't grow up yet either then.
Homelander will find Maeve and reenject her with v kill the gf and have his super baby
I spoiled for myself the show checking the comics and im already pre-mad
My overly optimistic hope for where it goes is black noir returns, ends up joining the boys as a weapon for butcher, becomes more human with the improved company, a-train eventually has such a redeeming moment and point of realisation that he also turns on homelander, and butcher continues to die until the end of season 4 he takes the permanent v as a sacrifice of his own morals and acceptance of supes in an effort to make sure the boys can win, probably saving hughie. Season 4 sees them eventually kill Victoria and maybe Cindy shows up again, homelander uses that ending so season 3 to justify following storefronts ideas of a small army over a massive following and all that, getting the adult suitable v refined to turn a number of his loyalists into decently powerful supes still massively weaker than the or butcher are. Season ends with him losing Ryan to butcher and losing his shit.
Season 5 homelander follows through with his threat of destroying America with his small army of loyal supes and bigger army of armed loyalist non supes, the Ashley’s change sides and deep gets way more conflicted.
Soldier boy is woken up and goes out with the intent of killing both sides.
The two sides fight while the nation is in a civil war and systematic collapse around them. The deep dies regretting the side he chose and his mistakes throughout his life. a-train betrays hughie in a moment of need due to them still never truely making up and they fight with a-train getting killed. Black noir dies fighting alongside butcher and starlight against homelander and soldier boy who are also against each other, homelander and butcher kill soldier boy while the rest of the boys are killing part of homelanders supe army.
The remaining boys get overrun by homelanders army of reinforcements forcing butcher to resist killing homelander when he was moments away to go laser the attackers saving his crew.
Starlight gets seriously wounded attempting to fight homelander when butcher leaves, hughie tries to save her and they are both knocked down and about to die when butcher grabs homelander, sacrificing himself to kill the two of them ending the fight.
Basically I just want black noir back and a wicked finally fight scene and don’t really care too much about the finer details as long as it fits the characters when it’s done. Regardless butcher has to die for the ending imo

“How Come Maeve Survived”
Cuz She’s A Fucking Queen!!
Yeah a queen who completely belittles everyone around her including my boy hughie. Fck her.
Because of Plot armour
Really bad season overall I thought, good start but fumbled it hard. Maeve still being alive is silly and MM not simply waiting until ONE SECOND after Soldier Boy takes out Homelander to start going after Soldier Boy is the most short sighted unrealistic bullshit I've ever seen a supposedly adult character do.
