As a gentle and polite suggestion, you might consider building an "angle plate" of perhaps 2x4-6 lumber, so that you can move the shear to a 90 degree horizontal position, so that you can use gravity to drop the cores into a waiting container. That would eliminate having to extract the cores by hand, etc...
@flemingjim1953 You are totally right. I have already cut a piece of tubing to mount on the side to act as a slide. Im also working on a tray to catch the cores. . The feed tube has to be modified too. I think im going to cut a channel out and put a spring in it. Kind of like the magazine on a shotgun. Because gravity wont work to feed the wire.
