When I started my lawn care business. It didn't take me long to realize to care dog treats with me everyday. I had a customer with a big puppy Golden retriever. He would be outside and no people to see (back yard). I felt bad for him. So, it clicked one day to get dog treats for him when I go and cut the lawn. I made a good friend for life after that. After that I care dog treats with me. New customers dog, dogs i run across walking down the street with their owners (long as owners say its ok), just about anytime I see a dog. I'm reaching for a treat. I love the smiles from the dogs. It's like "oh, i have a treat and this is great. I'm so happy now." While they prance off with the owner. Little bit of kindness can save the world. 😁🤘
@@Titus-2-Mom that’s just a bonus, we need folks who aren’t immediately reactive to dogs/ cats. When you become afraid of dogs immediately, even more so if you don’t know how to read dog and how to respect dog culture, it causes more problems.

It has to be someone who knows how to read the a pupper- and respond in a way that reassures them both. But a whole other issue here is. Most dogs are sweethearts if you know how to read the them. But delivery people should NEVER be obligated to go into a place with a loose dog.. I’m gonna write this as a new comment instead I think it’s important !

I was able to find and cite said regulation. I suspect this isn't necessarily part of core training, wasn't always a regulation, and probably not everyone follows it. In fact I just googled a post that says a ton of carriers ignore the rule and still bring treats.
My huge caucasion shepherd used to get out of out yard (it was high fenced) and block the street where peole was going from train stration. Growling and not letting them pass untill they fed something to her. My cat used to join her too.

@sharkiii8929 Milk bones are made from wheat, bone meal, beef fat, milk, mineral supplements, and vitamin supplements. The only ingredients you could argue are bad are the preservatives used to keep the beef fat from rotting.

Just look how he approaches the dog, how he sounds/acts around the dog, how he presents his hand for the sniff, how he respects the dog's "area he's guarding" and doesn't just push past it but confrents the dog for "passage". Heya! Would it be possible for you to reconsider? My dogs used to both have kidney failure and they weren't allowed to have any treats that weren't in their special diet. If they ate anything outside of that they would throw up and it would destroy their kidney. Treats are fine but please never feed a dog any without prior information

It looks just like the Siberian Huskies I've had over the years. The Malamutes I've know were more brown, not black and white. How can you tell the difference?
@@mregister3945, they can be hard to tell apart. We’ve had Huskies and Mals over the years. Huskie’s tails do not curve over their backs like a malamute’s does. Huskies generally do not have brown eyes. Also, the shape of the head, and ears. Maybe a mix of Husky/Malamute. 🤷🏽♀️

What do you expect, the dog is a malamute. Unless you are an active threat to a small animal, small child, or bonded human they are warded around strangers. The reason I know it is a malamute is the size, head+snout+ear shape, and only malamute and wolves can have green eyes.
Huskies get a treat Once and they suddenly think every person they see is a treat dispenser. My Mila is always so friendly and loving and she'll hug and kiss anyone that looks at her but I see her face and eyes scrambling looking them up and down for that biscuit😂
@@forrestrehrig7812actually huskies are the ones that can have green eyes (rare) as they usually have blue or bi colored. Malamutes are suppose to only have brown eyes (diff shades of brown is okay). If they have green or blue then they must have some husky admixture. Looking at this one though it def looks more like a Malamute

Huskies and Malamutes don't tend to ever "stay" and are pretty great escape artists, especially Huskies. They are more exploratory than other breeds, definitely aren't yard dogs lol.

@@atj4283Yeah, I was looking at the eyes and thought it wasn't a husky, though I'm not a in any way knowledgeable of dog breeds. I'd just been watching a Lot of "dramatic Husky" videos and the eyes on this one struck me as different.
Or am I wrong about the eyes thing?
@@LA_HA it’s the eyes and the facial structure/body structure. Huskys and mals are similar at a glance but malamutes look different/bigger the more you study the two

Huskies and Malamutes don't tend to ever "stay" and are pretty great escape artists, especially Huskies. They are more exploratory than other breeds, definitely aren't yard dogs lol.
