For all you guys going through this I went on this diet 2.5 months ago and it was hard the healing crisis was difficult to get through but now I'm her completely healed and incorporating these food back into my diet. Thanks so much Abby you have helped me cure my eczema I don't know how to thank you
Hello. I just came across your website and this video. I believe I am experiencing and suffering from a severe case of eczema. It has recently flared up. My right leg looks like your pic. Very raw looking and itches real bad. I have been reading a lot on this. It seems that the creams only give a superficial treatment. But it continues to spread. I want true relief as this has become very discouraging. I'm willing to try this diet. It makes sense as I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes about 3 years ago. All of the sudden too!!... Can you help me and my daughter who deals with this as well??
Thank you for being direct and transparent on this quick video which gets straight to the point. It’s so appreciated after watching countless hour long videos that don’t give any information aside from how painful and incurable eczema is.
I just came across your videos as well as visited your website and I'd just like to say thank you sooo much for making it simple and breaking the information done, as well as speaking/posting about your experience. Im in my mid 20's and have dealt with severe eczema my whole life. Seems like the older I get the worse it gets, but I'm willing and eager to try this. THANKS!!
This is a fantastic video and everything makes sense except for one thing (in my opinion of course): the sugar that is in the fruit is healthy because it's natural food and it's good for our body so we can eat as much as we want. What is bad is white processed sugar that we find in junk food. I have scalp eczema and I did a 2 week raw food diet eating mountains of fruit, vegetables and nuts and my eczema almost disappeared. Unfortunately also the money disappeared as we all know how expensive fruit and vegetables are so after those two weeks I had no money and the only food left in the house was bread and pasta so I ate it and my eczema came back violently, even worse than before. Thanks for the useful video, it definitely helped me and gave me many ideas. Luckily we paid the credit card so yesterday we bought LOTS of fruit and veg! Yeah!
+Soralella71 It's a hit or miss - some ppl react a lot to fruits and others feel better on it. Thanks for sharing that you got better with it though, so glad to hear! And glad you were able to stock up again on lots of fruits and veg! :)
+Prime Physique Nutrition i'm on my six day low fat high fruit and vegetables diet and flared up like never before. is going away now but be prepared. im suspecting on apple cider vinager i was taking every morning.
I have been trying to do this, but you really have to pay close attention to labels even with bagged or boxed whole foods . Always read ingredients ,they could have small traces of other allergy cause foods . For instance I'm allergic to almonds due to tree pollen cross contamination . I bought a bulk bag of walnuts and I started getting itchy. I found out that when proceeded in factor they may contain trace amounts of , soy, milk, wheat and eggs. Crazy !! Heads up if your doing this .....
Hmm im trying this. My foods are as follows- Protein- Cage-free chicken Carbs- Brown rice, Banana, strawberries, blueberries Fats-Almonds veggies- carrots, baby spinach hope it helps my digestion issues and skin!
i feel you, i was forced to move out because my parents could not adapt to my specific needs. If you can’t move out, buy yourself a mini fridge and keep it in your room.. do what you have to do. it’s your health and wellness and if you’re like me you might be the only advocate for your health. put yourself first!
Wow so helpful really appreciate this especially the last part speaking on how eczema gets worse right before it heals I’m going through that right now
Im going to do the elimination diet I am currently going through the TSW and RSS and I really want to detoxify my body for I know that diet is very vital for ezcema prone skin . Thank you for this informative video and I will update everyone on this journey of mine , Namaste
fruit sugar is not as bad as u think as it’s natural non processed and non added sugar. fruit is packed with fibre which helps your body digest the sugar. (eczma triggered by sugar is because of body struggling to digest it)
I have psoriasis which is a form of a skin disease like the one shown. Just a quick point that teas are really god for u but make sure that the teas u but from any store will be unprocessed. Of it is processed it can be very harmful.
Great video. I'lll have to eliminiate a lot of foods because my son is HIGHLY allergic to so many. It's great that it helped so I hope for him to stop scratching.
Good video. I'm following the elimination diet currently, and I find it hard at times to avoid food that I'm allergic to, especially when at a party or get-together of sorts. I'm still on my way to recovery, a long way to go actually. But working towards it. Long time sufferer here. On the other hand, I feel that your video's music is a bit too loud and masks your talk. :)
I'm researching eczema for my 11 year old niece she has all over body eczema, I mean entire body there isn't one clear spot on her. Their doctor recommended the family to get a dog to help her with scratching it has made a big difference I don't know why or how. I also bought a humidifier for her to help get moisture in the air. I am making homemade juices for her with fruits, veggies that are skin healers adding things like ginger and turmeric. In regards to your foods list I feel like if someone is allergic to eggs than they must also be allergic to chicken. I'm wondering if turkey would be a better choice for people that are allergic to eggs.
There is a video on RUclips about a young boy that had extreme eczema and found a cure by soaking in the saltwater everyday at the beach for a couple of weeks. He was completely healed. I tried it and it worked for me too. I couldn't go to the beach everyday but I brought home gallon jugs of saltwater and soaked at hime.
Tnx for doing this....I am not allowed eating chickens too... After our class... (Recess ) I ate Chicken without permission on my parents.... After a few days... my eczema put on action....I feel so bad for it...I still have it now ... but still you have this video...I will eat more vegetables.... it really hurts..m
Since my 2 yr old reacts immediately to most meats and fish Except for pork, that's the only meat we can feed him. we recently tried some Foster Farms free range organic chicken but he still reacted to it. Around his mouth turned red and itchy. it's so frustrating because he's only two; he's not going to eat kimchee and sourkrout. he eats a lot of oatmeal with honey. I'm not sure what to try next. His diaper is always a gooey smelly mess; I don't know how to get his digestion back to normal when he can't eat anything!
Robert Johnson Just saw this have you had your little ones stool tested for infection or he might lack digestive enzymes? Just an observation from your description of his stool.
Did you take antihistamines during the cleansing period or just the elimination diet? I have to take horrible Prednisone once in a while to give me a break but of course the eczema comes back. I started the elimination diet this week and I am going to decrease the dose of Prednisone today so we'll see. Thanks for your information. Really, your site is one of the best I have tried. You have done a great job.
Thanks so much for your kind words :) I didn't take any medication or antihistamines during the cleansing period because I tried to keep my body as "clean" as possible.
Because the eczema I have is mostly on my face and my eyes get swollen too,It is something i can"t disguise or cover. I totally isolate from the world and can't go anywhere. it is very painful for me not to take Prednisone once in a while just to give me a break at least for 1 week. Do you think I should just do the diet without Prednisone and try to bare my condition hoping my body will clean itself? I know you mentioned that there was a time when it was very difficult but you kept going with the diet.Today I saw a dermatologist and he suggested a medication, a trial of a new medication that is injected monthly but honestly I don't want to spend my life on medications. I really want to make an effort to try to do it naturally. Living under medication is my last resource. What would it be your recommendation, no worries, I just want to know your opinion. Thank you for taking the time to reply to me.
Great video! Problem is I am a really fussy eater and also I take packed lunch to work such as crisps (chips) healthy snack bar, biscuits and chicken slices. Good thing I love chicken and Apples. Never tried Turmeric though.
Yes, your channel has been a wealth of knowledge for me. However, still trying figure out my "trigger foods" right now and pay attention to gut health as well. Thanks again!
I'm doing the elimination diet for my eczema and I'm about 4 weeks into the diet. I went to the movies with my friends and hey offered me 2 pieces of gum and I ate it. I didn't start introducing foods so do you think those two pieces of gum will ruin the whole diet? Let me know what you think Mrs. Abby From, Tomas

Hi, I was wondering if you were able to figure out which foods were causing it. I'm going through this right now and I think it's tomatoes and citrus and dairy that causes mine, but don't know for sure.
When I reintroduce a certain food group and I don't have an issue with that food group, can I reintroduce a new food group the following day or must I still wait 3 days and then reintroduce a new food group?
Moosong Park Hi, I would wait 3 days because some food reactions can take up to 72 hours to show up on the skin. This means that if you only wait a day to see if you have a reaction, you won't be giving enough time to check. Hope that helps!
Thanks so much for the response Abby. One last question, if I don't have an issue with the certain food group can I reincorporate those foods into my diet while I'm still reintroducing foods or should I wait until I've tested every food group before bringing any food back into my diet permanently? Thanks

Thank youu! Also I'd like to ask, did you completely stop using steroid creams during this whole process?
Yes! Steroids are very unhealthy for the body - they suppress the inflammation and create even more toxins for your liver to filter out.
Can i eat pickled fruits ?

Beef is actually the best food to help heal and for inflammation. Watch Dr. Berg talk about it... Cabbage is #1 for veggies
I healed my eczema with eating 15 bananas per day
The Lebanese Vegan are you serious???
Banana contains high histamine which potentially make you itch. So not sure if 15 bananas helped actually, should be something else.
