may be slower than others, nothing pushed, rather so effortless smooth, he is the tenor with high IQ, great taste, maybe NOT as dramatic as others, but certainly highly respected.

Beautiful. I think that more lyrically mellow version is closest to "com' e scrito", and iirc Caruso sang it that way too, or fairly close to it.

Much too "pushed" for my taste. Tries to sound like Gigli when singing softly but is simply not in the same class at all. Poor singing here IMO.
