Thanks so much for the video man, I think this is ideal for me because I don't have a really strong plan for data on my phone, it will be used for Fishing (mainly) or Camping 🙂 Definitely going to get this!
As I saw this exact product marketed under different brands, a red flag popped up in my head. And surely it is an allibabba chinese mass production item en sells for as low as 5$. That doesn't mean it is crap by definition but I wouldn't bet my life on it. I already see a failure in the comment section below... I wonder how long they will actually last in a bushcraft / survival situation.
Hello can you give us a update of the item is it still good and running? Also when hand cranking to many minutes to charge a phone I'm percentage. Please get back thank you.
Hi, Mine is still working great I go camping a lot and always bring it with me. If you sit it out in the sun and let the solar panel charge it, it's a lot easier than hand cranking it but takes longer. It is how ever slow at charging a phone due to the size of a phone battery. I only charge my phone up to about 50% as I don't use my phone much when camping, but it takes 30+ mins with solar. It wold be faster with hand cranking I'v not tryed it all the way yet from me just being lazy I guess (LOL).
The charge light stops blinking. I plugged it into my computer to charge but my computer didn't supply enough power to fully charge it. The light didn't stop blinking. I plugged it into a 3 amp power supply and it got a full charge.

Just wanted to say thanks for this review. It really helped me make a decision between two similar hand crank radios.
It clearly advertises 1 min of hand cranking will run the radio for 20 mins.
Great little radio. I bought one for each of our bags, and I carry one in my edc sling bag. (3)
Cheap, useful and so far durable.

running snail hand crank
The radio of mine stopped working but the flash lights work and can magically stop working sometimes. Can anyone identify the problem?
Hi I just bought this. How do you know if the battery is fully charged??
The charge light stops blinking. I plugged it into my computer to charge but my computer didn't supply enough power to fully charge it. The light didn't stop blinking. I plugged it into a 3 amp power supply and it got a full charge.
What battery does it use?
Internal 1000 mAh Lithium ion battery. Not 100% sure what kind (Shape/Size) but the one that is in it should last a life time.
