- Just Monika managed to become my new favorite Minecraft animation of all time!! It's got good stuff! And given the length of this video, it's got a LOT of it. Here's everything right with Just Monika!!

Well the last part is just wrong, Thanos can also choose the target, he just choose to do 50% at random to make it fair.
Like someone else said, Thanos chose to wipe away 50% to help the population because he believed what he was doing was right. He could’ve done literally anything.

I love how Sayori is so acurate. Most "depressed" characters I see are always EdgyTM and are super open about it. Sayori is bubbly and tries to keep everyone else happy, and doesn't really let on to her illness until Monika starts messing with her. I'm... honestly pretty relevied to finaly have a character I can relate to, even if it's over depression.

@@gamerstheater1187Actually, Monika talks about this! She did it herself completely, but she actually just.. changed her mind about the whole thing, or maybe it was just her survival instincts kicking in!

12:08 I have a slightly different head canon, but basically in the same vein. Zach is still just playing the game, and Monika appearing in his room is just a visual representation of when she says his real name. Like when she is speaking directly to you and not your character. And Zach is back in his school clothes when this room starts flying up to space. So, no he didn't break his computer on the real world, I agree it was symbolizing his rejection of Monika and deleting her. The difference with my head canon is that scene is happening in Zach's imagination, not that Monika made a virtual city. That's just my take.

Oh, yeah! Back when this game was popular, someone made a theory. Monika plays piano, so, whenever a piano plays, that means she's watching. It's pretty cool!

I noticed a similar thing in-game, whenever you're reading someone's poem the music instrumentation changes (Sayori -> flute, Natsuki -> xylophone/bells, Yuri -> pizzicato strings, Monika -> piano), didn't extrapolate that to actively listen for piano in other parts of the game tho 🤯

Just thought I'd point this out to anyone having a good day. The just sayori ending hints at the fact that their all in a loop of characters becoming the club president until everyone is deleted.
I'd love to see the Just Natsuki ending since we're never given /too/ much of an insight into her character. Maybe getting into her home issues with an abusive father and the whole thing with the literature club being her only escape.

In the original musical the actor of Monica and Nathan/player went into Nathan’s office and he had his computer be on and had DDLC’s files open so they filmed it and Nathan tried to trash Monica secretly but Monica caught him and pulled his mouse away from the trash but he clicked the delete button on his keyboard and was able to delete her
If the animation is so good it even supercedes the brilliance of Fly Again by Whovian's standards then you know it is an amazing animation

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that when it zooms in and out of a character's face the next scene revolves around that character. For example when the camera zoomed in on Natsuki the next scene was the four reading manga and Yuri's scene was her telling spooky stories after it zoomed in on her. 13:49

Zach's reaction to Sayori's death was so accurate to mine. I didn't go in playing the game blindly, but watched the game grumps play the game without knowing.

Yeah that's the first part where the immersion is broken and you see Zach the player (not the MC) reacting to what's happening in-game 😱 (Other than the intro, which is there as foreshadowing but easily overlookable) Great catch!
My first playthrough I could feel Sayori's suicide impending after I friendzoned her, but that scene still hit like a ton of bricks 😵
Plus, another point because the of the “it’s not like I like you” reference. “Hey- it- it’s not like I like it or anything!” - “I-it’s not like I like you o-or anything!”
Extra thing: At 8:51, instead of Yuri stabbing herself, Monika forces Yuri to stab herself, which shows how Yuri’s suicide was actually Monika changing her personality and forcing her to do it.
Am I only the one who loves how slimy, and sometimes insane, Monika’s looks are?! I would give a win for all of them

I really liked the finger animation when Monika snapped away Natsuki. With the little bounceback on the middle finger and all.
The part where Sayori just kept saying "Just Sayori" was accurate too, leading to where if you delete Monika's game file and play again: Sayori becomes the president and then becomes aware that shes in a game, like Monika did.

I think his headcanon or theory about Monika taking in the surroundings holds a lot of evidence, considering that 12:34 he's wearing the school uniform (despite showing the real world), the reason why he would have his usual clothes at the beginning of this segment because it was what the computer saw, only for Monika to change to fit her projection of him and what SHE saw. Love this video and it's so wholesome seeing all the cute and amazing perfections of this video!

If I had one problem about the animation it would be the glitching,I feel like it should have been more than color changing. Maybe distortion would’ve made it better .
The only thing I think is better in the live-action version is this part:
"Let's go read a story!"
"What about [REDACTED]?"
"Let's talk about _me_ instead!"
In this version, Yuri heads offscreen and Monika just pops in out of nowhere, but in the live-action version, Yuri pulls Zach in, the scene glitches and Monika _replaces_ Yuri. I found it more ominous that way.
Otherwise, this is a really well done animation!

4:49 After watching Game Theorists' vids about the red string tying them (😏) into another upcoming game/explaining their lore and backstory, I really appreciate that detail being worked into ZAMination's vid 🤩 (It's not in most other covers/animatics)
I did wanna point out one more thing: during the climax scene with Monika while the ground is still- well, in the ground, you can see how well the reflection on the mirror matches up with the character’s movements.

5:00 This is also good with another fact. It highlights how non-observant and dumb the mc is. Monika is literally preparing the strings to hang Sayori right infront of him, yet he doesn't notice because of how he is inherently written to be a tropey virtual novel mc who is non-observant about things (Such as Sayori being depressed and failing to catch major signs until too late, or any of the strange things that happen in act 2).

Another win about the red string. There is a myth of the red string of fate that there is red string connecting Lovers and this could show Monika is breaking the string between the Protagonist and Sayori, she could also be making the red string connect to herself and the protag so they are meant to be lovers.

This is an amazing animation and I agree 💯 on the point I added! I personally love how the animation from a previous fnaf animation was used on Monica (or atleast a template idrk much about animation) but one song that I think would be AWESOME If u reviewed it would be “Running to never”
