BISMARCK WRECK (BEFORE AND AFTER) DIORAMA/ How to make/ Epoxy Resin Art /DIY

- In this video tutorial you can see how I created a before and after diorama/epoxy resin art
of the Bismarck battleship together with her wreck as it currently lays on the ocean floor.
I used 2 Revell Bismarck plastic model kits at 1/1200 scale.
I made the sea bottom with Polymer Clay, PVA Glue and natural sand.
I painted the various parts with acrylic colors.
I was inspired by this diorama when checking the Facebook page of the Hamburg Maritime Museum and I invite all the ship enthusiasts who follow me to check their FB page and subscribe to @MaritimesMuseum
I am very happy with this ship wreck epoxy resin art/diorama and I hope you will like it too.
Thank you for watching and see you again soon.
All the best

What a great idea putting the sunken wreck underneath, love it!
At the bottom of the ocean, the depths of the abyss
They are bound by iron and blood
The flagship of the navy, the terror of the seas
His guns have gone silent at last...
Thanks for ur job. It looks awesome
🤘🤘
Soo good🎉
These water effects look gorgeous !
Sweet diorama
Thank you very much!
Very good idea making before and after
Thanks a lot
Sea surface looks great.
craziness. absolute world class. always a little dream of model architecture.
I love how you put the whole thing together before damaging it. Rather than trying to recreate it already damaged.
INSANE! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Incredible!!! So many beautifully details.
Love the original and the wreck together 😊
I love the bismarck ship and to see this diorama is really cool from the bismarck being not destroyed to destroyed in 29th may 1941
Just the idea for this showpiece is remarkable but the final result is magnificent. Brilliant work, next level talent. Thank you for sharing your art.
Thank you very much!
I love the before and after.
First but love your videos I hope you do more battleship builds
Excellent! I like this series of build where you show the before & after! Keep it up!
Oh wow it looks beautiful. 😍
Nice brush work.
Thanks 👍
Beautiful dioroma, woww!you the king of modelling
Thank you! 😊
Nice work with the bottom hull
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing detail. Love it.❤
Thank you! 😊
Fantastic as always. I'd love to see the Yamato in this style of diorama.
That would be cool!
@@4THECRAFT Yeah but you would need a bigger diorama as the Yamato was in several pieces scattered for miles in all directions.
@Michael Mitchell I think I would have to sacrifice some accuracy for display purposes.
Very impressive diorama, stunning idea placing "Bismarck" two versions !
Thank you very much!
@@4THECRAFTTitanic🚢🚣😵😢
great idea
Thank you!
Incredible 😎
Keep it up. Such good work
Thanks a lot 😊
While I like it, the stern (backend) of the wreck broke off in the sinking. Also, some of the original paint shows through on the wreck. It is only underwater for 70 years and was steel and lead paint, so it has less corrosion, and maybe hints at the original paint would be interesting. But, still, I like it. Lastly, the wreck slid to its location, so you could put that in too. Yamato would make an interesting wreck.
I think a yamato wreck would be really hard
@@matthewlevitt7032 Well given Yamato blew up as it was sinking and the hull is scattered all over the sea floor near Okinawa. Musashi might be a better wreck as she is still relatively intact unlike her sister.
@@michaelbenjmitchell1 that's the point I was trying to make
@@matthewlevitt7032 would make for a interesting diorama though. But would need to be in a smaller scale to work and totally scratch built. That' why I said it would be easier to do a Before and after of Musashi since she is relatively intact.
There are 1:1200 model of Yamato. You can align the two pieces like what was down with the Titanic version. You must paint it with grey decks and maybe add some tiny sandbags. I think it is possible...just I am not a resin modeler...so I would let someone else try first ;-)
Considering the small size of the models, that is darn good work!!
i's like to see you maybe try making the May Flower ship with the wreck included, if there is even a wreck of that ship
From what I hear the Pilgrims pretty much used the Mayflower to build their settlement. All that would have been left would have been the oak framing and keel.
excellent work
Many thanks
This is beautiful! Truly inspiring as well.
Love the music, very soothing.
Thank you so much!

Going with the World War II theme, the Japanese battleship Yamato would be a fun before and after.
Magnifique "vanité" moderne.

Bei dem Maßstab benötigt man sicher eine ziemlich ruhige Hand! ^^
Viele Grüße aus Deutschland!
Thank you . Greetings from Greece

Thank you very much Steve. Yes I am Greek. Glad you like my work 🙏
Wonderful! Please make the explosion and the sinking of the battleship Roma!
Reddit brought me here. Great stuff, bud. :)
Welcome aboard!
Fantastic work Michael, the tiny details on the ship really pop well, and the broll scene with the flashlight projection was so stunning.
Thank you file. 👍
cool idea
This is absolutely spectacular and amazing you have done a fantastic job and my suggestion for your next one would have too be either the admiral graf spee a deutchland class pocket battleship or the yamato graf spee would be easier but it's up too you if you choose either of these I wish you luck
Great suggestion!
Do the Amorgos shipwreck I would love that!!!!
Simply amazing. You have a fantastic model making talent. Could you do the same with HMS Hood please?
Thank you. I will consider it
Piękna robota 😎
You should upload it to youtube shorts because alot of people would rather watch shorts.
Amazing btw❤
I will try! Thanks

Great job, this one is really good. How about the H.M.S. Hood.
Very Good. As you have done the BISMARCK. I think the next would have to be the HMS HOOD?
salute the men of KMS Bismarck and HMS Hood
It'd be neat to see you do one of these for the Edmund Fitzgerald.
Masterful work! I would love to see a USS Yorktown (CV-5) version please! Revell made a 1/1200 model as well.
Thanks. I will check it out
@@4THECRAFT Thanks for considering it!
