@@clairedavis4750 right?! Technically as long as you’re having periods, you can have a baby up until menopause. It just gets trickier in terms of ovulation window, egg reserve, sperm quality if the father is older too, luteul phase etc but can be done! Plus there’s lots of tests these days to check for any hormonal adjustments needed and foetus disabilities upon early pregnancy etc. Oh and of course let’s hit forgot that parenthood in later years can also be done through adoption and fostering too.. doesn’t have to be own baby. There’s also arguments that older parents have lived a better quality of life pre child, therefore are more experienced, in a better financial position, able to step back from work if the money allows to spend more time raising the child etc
With the hormone thing, I have confirmed pcos but my hormone levels all ‘normal’, but my doctor told me some people can be more sensitive to androgen so a ‘normal’ level can still trigger stuff like acne and excess hair xx
religion is a personal choice, just because you are religious, does not mean other people have to be nor should you force them to be - there are also many other religions that have multiple deities rather than a mono deity - the same with atheism, if someone is atheist, they should not force others to believe in atheism
