Hi there, not sure if you've already got 100 comments about this already but I love your chinese carbon builds, chinese groupset reviews and hope you'll do one for the upcoming L-twoo ERX electronic groupset. As a younger university student, chinese frames and chinese electronic groupset might be the closest I can ever get to high-level enthusiast groupset without committing a crime. Cheers bro! Loving your content always!
I've got this frameset in XL, left it in matt black and I absolutely love it, paired with their low end carbon gravel wheels, 1x ltwoo 11 speed and it comes in at 8kg dead nuts with pedals and Garmin mount. Fantastic build quality, I'm a heavy dude and can pump out some power out the saddle, thrown it around, bunny hop it everywhere and it's never made a sound, I'm just as quick on this as my Giant Defy. Id get their road frameset in a heart beat unfortunately it's just a bit too small for me.
@@JourdainColeman Lovely thanks for the link! I´ve recently restored a few old bikes myself and equipped them with "modern" parts. Didnt use the old and trusty shimano parts tho. I opted for the cheaper Sensah groupset and it rides like a dream now. I´m pretty sure your viewers would enjoy a restomod series on your channel. Anyway keep up the great work!
Bought and built up a commuter bike based on this frame. Done some heavy duty single track and done 1000 miles on it. I absolutely love it. It is solid and comfortable, it’s not sketchy or racy but it does inspire confidence and is comfortable. Did 100 mile rides back to back and handled it very nicely. Paint job is really good got mine in the grey and looks slick
Glad toy hear the bike is working well for you. It's really good value considering the custom paint. I can imagine the seat post being the same colour is pretty unique as well 👌🏼 also good to hear the videos have helped you 👍🏽
i have an XC full suspension MTB frame from light carbon. i've ridden that thing on some of the most ridiculous downhill trails in Georgia and North Carolina (well under biked). Took it like a champ.
Hey Jourdain, hope you are doing well. Very interested in a gravel build myself, so will be following this intensely and thanks for everything in so much depth as usual.
Hey Scott! I'm doing good thank you... trying to pump out at least one high quality video a week! How are you doing? Good to hear you are interested in the gravel build, I want to do some more gravel riding this year so I'm excited as well. The bike is fully built already so the videos will be coming very soon 👍🏽
Bought this frame a couple of years ago, raw carbon (I did my own paint job), along with the LC wheels. ProX is the same wheel but they started marketing them under their own name. Put it together myself and have no issues with the bottom bracket or headtube - no squeaks or loose bearings. Routing the cables wasn't too much of a hassle but did take some fiddling. Highly recommend this frame, pretty robust - and I weigh 220 lbs. I run it 1x because it suits my location. They have great pre and post sales support.
Wonderful video. This was one of the main information source to make my decision: Will buy one this evening with integrated stem, so I can keep my Decathlon bike packing bars.😅
I own the same frame and I used to work in an F1 team where one colleague allowed me to scan with X ray the frame and I was told it is a very very well built frame. In my case the BB and the headset are perfectly round. The only thing I did wrong was masking the brake caliper contact surfaces before to paint it and they were not perfect but that was my fault.

Hi Jordon, after a lot of research into Trifox frames decided to order a Trifox X18 frame. Waited 6 weeks for delivery to UK, looked nice frame, built it up, went for 1 ride and kept hearing cracking noise. On my return i investigated and found that the seat downtube between the seatstays and the bb there was alot of carbon delamination as it was really soft. Complained to Trifox and after a couple of correspondants they never replyed to me again. The frame now sits on my turbo as it is too dangerous to ride on the road. Personally i have learnt a very expensive mistake that never but from direct from China as for the average person you may not get your money back and guarantees are worthless.
@@JourdainColeman Still might work out fine. I have a high end shop around the corner and they too have bikes for € 10.000 with creaking bbs coming in.

I currently rode a 2021 Alloy Diverge Elite E5. Like the reason for this video, I want to upgrade to a carbon frame with internal cabling but on a tight budget. Having watched this video I’m thinking that this may actually be doable. So do you think I could order one of these and take it and my bike into a shop and have a mechanic move everything over? Thanks
I did actually buy the frame and had it built. Had it since January and have only been on 2 fairly longish rides, the rest has been commuting but it’s been great so far. The company were great to deal with, quick responses from Wendy and it arrived a month before I was expecting. Really impressed at it all.
Im curious how the falath pro is riding? I've been tempted by their evo model but I can't see me using larger than 28mm tires so the extra clearence would probably be a negative rather than positive. I'm hoping to see a good comparison in the next few weeks otherwise i will just pull the trigger on the pro model, though the ICAN A9 is also an interesting prospect.
I take it back. 800 USD for integrated bars, seatpost and custom paint,is pretty good value. Light carbon and Carbonda are two of the best carbon manufacturers in Asia. Did the 800USD include customs? Looking at LC and ProX for CX build with sensah SRX 1X. Thanks Johnny

Those BB tolerances don't look too good, I think. There is a 0.8mm variation which is a lot.
