"recording is a skill not a talent" THIS. so many people shy away from taking on new artistic hobbies because they think they're not talented enough for it but mostly it's all about how much practice and dedication you're willing to show. Whether it be singing, playing instruments or even drawing or painting, all you gotta do is just start from somewhere and then keep practicing to perfect your skills
Haha. Yeah. Ed Sheeran sounds terrible when he was younger. He said he wasn't born with talent in singing. When I heard the his recording when he was a teen, I believed him coz he really sounded aweful. It took him a while to get a good control of his voice. Unless you're already in your 30s, you can still practice a get a good singing voice.
Some people are born with Singing talent, but for every other profession or even singing sometimes you need massive practice sessions and like a year or two to perfect it!
Exactly! When I usually show my art to my friends, they are like “wow your so talented! I wish i can draw as good as u!” But the thing is, it takes SKILL to accomplish your goal. I wasn’t born an artist. It took me YEARS to be good at art. I am still learning new things about art to this day! Just practice and work hard then you can accomplish your goals!

One of the main reasons why I love watching Noah is the fact that he started out with basic equipment. I also record my vocals using my iPhone and it sounds amazing once mixed and mastered properly.

I gave some tests with this trick in my living room, and in my bedroom with my earphone's microphone and with my phone's normal microphone (i have a kinda normal android phone and knock off earphone's from a nearby random store lol)
They didn't really had that much of a difference, but with the trick it kinda sounded more echo'ey, but it's most probably the fact that my living room is just a tv set, a table and two chairs ;-;
But something else i noticed is that with the trick is that it doesn't have that weird breathing sound when wind hits your microphone, this effects even happens with the earphones on, and i pretty most had the same distance from the microphone in both places
But in general, all audios were pretty most the same in quality, but if your living room is decently decorated, something that mine isn't, you'll probably get a better sounding effect than mine, so yeah, that's pretty much it
