If an old parent is staying with one of his children and rented out his residence. Then the person doesnot have any POA for current address. All documents are of permanent address then what is the procedure?

Hello Sir, A quick question and expecting your reply on this. My wife was born in Jammu and did all the qualifications in Jammu, her parents are from Jammu. Now in 2016 she married me in Delhi and I changed her address on the Jammu Adhaar card to the Delhi address. Last month I applied for her passport where I had mentioned the present address as Delhi and birth place as Jammu and Kashmir. I already have a Delhi passport and on that passport my spouse's name is mentioned. After applying for the passport, PSK office sent our application for police verification and put one stamp on our application for an inquiry in RPO Delhi. They asked us to visit the RPO after the police verification, Here I dont know why they escalated our case to RPO where as my wife have everything such as Adhaar Card, pan card, voter card(Jammu), bank passbook, Domicile certificate(Jammu), school and graduation certificates(Jammu), ration card(Jammu) etc. We also got one Objection letter saying that DOB/POB is not clear, bring all the documents but we have already presented all the required documents in PSK office. Kindly suggest. One more thing since her birth was done at home so we do not have her birth certificate but we have PAN CARD, VOTER CARD, SCHOOL AND GRADUATION CERTIFICATES and ADHAAR CARD.

Please get your Aadhar card changed first. Yoir aadhar should mention your husbands surnname.

Apply for pasport in Cochin or the nearest passport sewa kendra nd share all your last one year addresses in the application (IF YOU CHANGED places in last one year) Your address where POLICEverification will be done will be the Hostel address. get a certificate from your principal proving you are the student. Also get a proof of hostel stay from warden. Hope this helps

Hello sir. My dad is in CRPF which is a paramilitary force so transfers takes place very frequently recently we shifted in Banglore from hyderabad. My permanent address is of delhi. Its been only 2 months we shifted to banglore and i have only gas bill and electricity bill of 2 month and my aadhar card contains address of delhi. My voter Id, Pan card aadhar card has delhi address and my bank passbook as hyderabad address. what should i do to take the passport porcess smoothy. also i want to apply for tatkal passport so what all things need to be taken into consideration and changes required to do in documents for a smooth process. Please get NOC from your Authority. No Police Verification would be required.
If the application has a Prior Intimation Letter attached to it, the police verification is done before the passport is issued.
If the applicant submits an Identity Certificate in original (as per Annexure-B) with a Prior Intimation Letter attached to it, the police verification can be skipped.
If the applicant submits a NOC (as per Annexure-M), the police verification will be done after the passport is issued.
Retired government employees can submit the Pension Payment Order for post police verification.
For issuance of a passport, Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees need to submit either Identity Certificate in original as per Annexure "A" or No Objection Certificate (NOC) as per Annexure "G" or Prior Intimation Letter (PI) as per Annexure "H" as an additional document along with the application form. If he/she submits Annexure "A", passport will be issued without police verification and if he/she submits Annexure "G", passport will be issued on post police verification basis and if he/she submits Annexure "H", passport will be issued on pre police verification basis . IN CASE YOU GO FOR THE POLICE VERIFICATION ROUTE AND NOT THE NOC ROUTE
You need to apply for Police verification at your present address only even though you are not residing for a long time. But also mention all previous addresses of Stay. The Local police if get an adverse report at the current stay will get the verification done at the previous addresses also.

Yes Service Proof works if issued by Government. You will need to get it attested by a Gazetted officer to prove that you are still in service.

Ms Sukanya, Univ. Students can apply at their hostel address. Proof is required from Principal that you are student and from your warden that you are a resident in the hostel. Your hostel address will get printed on the Passport.

Yes. You can. Police verification will be done at permanent address you provide. RPO Mumbai can despatch Passport to your Gujarat address.
@@VISAPASSPORTPROPERTY sir I did the same.....I am from kurukshetra haryana and I applied at RK Puram under RPO Delhi....MY APPLICATION IS STUCK FOR A MONTH NOW after successfully submitting documents and PVR...I have tried to find some subsequent rules for it... it's only GSR 1117(E) which says that they can allow an application to be processed anywhere in India irrespective of the residential address but it doesn't say which.... permanent or current...if you could help me with some guidance on what should be done and what subsequent rules could be quoted?

Ye saare Document hone ke baad bhi aap Tatkaal apply nahi kar sakte if you applying from other state.
You can get a tatkaal if these documents are available. Your present address will be endorsed and not the permanent address of the state to which you belong.
