That flax on low-fertility soil will never grow. Low-fertility soil only has 25% fertility, but flax will use up 50%. So you'll be waiting for the soil to slowly recover fertility to feed the flax while the flax is still planted, which results in reduced recovery rate. Highly recommend digging those up and getting what seeds you can, and then planting those down on the high fertility soil you just got. Also, the area with those dual fruit trees has medium fertility soil, in case you want to dig up some of that! ;)
I've found that swimming in deep lakes is a great way to find minerals. because it's loweri n the world, you can more often find it poking through! it's surprisingly effective, tbh. don't be afraid to go for a swim. and scootch along the "cliff" faces down there.
The little wolf puppy starring at you was precious. But there is a backpack mod that I use that lets you convert baskets into a reed backpack with six slots. I like the mod because it allows you to use the baskets as part of the recipe.

What about the broken anvil you found could you have repaired that instead of making a copper one, is it still worth doing since it might be made of iron or steel?
Any of the "ruined" items like that don't function and are not repairable to the old way it was. At best you can repair it enough to be moved or in the case of weapons, you can use them a few times before they break. Found armor though can be repaired in most cases.
Sticks are everywhere trees or sticky bushes are. They are easy to find if you look. Resin can vary and is more challengining being on trees which often means forests and danger. They can be found quite regularly when looking but there may be areas that they are scarce or not even there, same as many other resources.
@@MischiefofMice resin is scarce even if you know where to look, and sticks take a while to collect even with shears. i cant help but feel like im wasting my time when looking for sticks
@ramboturkey1926 I seriously don't have an issue finding sticks. You just need trees and some patience. Shears make it a cake walk. I'll try to show it next episode if I can remember to. ;)

There is a easier way to check rock types if you crouch while looking at a block and press h it will open the handbook for the block your looking at

Resin can only be found on certain trees. I always find it on Pine
i cast an anvil and i couldn't get it out of the mold , i tried breaking it and lost it, thankful for creative
Just right click it once it's cooled! It's not been setup to work that way yet and the current version allows you to "pop" it out of the mold! xD
