Which is why one of the guys say “we have to speak in English” when RM and the other freak out about their dads
I really liked reading when some Koreans tried to break down bts speaking styles, what you said reminds me of it. RM in Korean is super hard to understand, someone compared it to like Shakespearean English lol. He uses big words and has to explain big concepts I guess (you've seen how suchwita went). Probably why he uses examples all the time, it's an effort to simplify. Meanwhile, Suga talking is hard to translate cause he slurs his words, and talks in like tough sounding slang, but is quite succinct. This seems to be a popular youtube channel in Korea, and it seems they do comedy skits and characters. Apparently RM has been following them for a while and is a fan of their content. Actually, how the guys were talking, behaving and giving out money is a common cultural practice in Korea. I have lived in Korea and have seen and experienced it myself. There are also some degree of differences also between different genders as well like male to male, female to female, male to female etc. Males tend to give out cash more to other younger males than females to younger females. The most common thing is treating or buying them food, of course, you do it within your means. Providing food so the younger ones are fed and happy is a form of making connections and bond which follows the mentality of collective care as well. I've paid for many meals and drinks when I used to live in Korea back in the eighties. I'm sure some things may have evolved and changed a bit but the general collective mindset of providing for someone younger than you seems to be still very prevalent even if you're not related. I liked that they gave Namjoon some money because I'm sure it's been ages for Namjoon to have received money from someone feeling that natural normalcy of Korean male camaraderie beyond his BTS brothers and Hybe personnel. This was my first time seeing this show and I had a good laughing and reminiscing moments.😄💜
Lol I had a Korean person being very surprised that international ARMY watched this episode. Apparently it’s pretty Korean standup humour lol Korean has a bunch of youtube shows that are pretty popular and RM clearly is a fan of this one 😆
RM cheesing is hilarious!!! We all know that's not the way he speaks. BTW did you know he self-taught English?! Pls add his Zack Sang Indigo albumn interview and the Pharrell/RM Rolling Stone interview to your list
I'm also so confused and so amused by the show and your reaction 😄😄 Two little things came to my mind while watching: 1. 6:20 I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel. But BTS had a performance there and did a prank on ARMYs and ARMYs Mothers. From my knowledge they never had an interview with him. He also made an unfunny joke about boybands being like covid19 and BTS is the latest mutation (or something like that). (So I'm confused why RM mentions him at all?) On the other side: Jimmy Fallon who had multiple (longer) Interviews and sketches with them. And seems genuinely interested in their music. 2. 30:30 The question about presents and money. On their show Run BTS or on travels they got limited funds they may use which leads to some interesting and funny situations (which ARMY call "BTS the broken millionaires") 💜💜
8:00 NJ is mentioning other rappers that were on the show. There is a segment like the one he's in with sort of an unorthodox interview, just check some of the content on the channel, unfortunately you don't know many rappers, so I don't know which one to recommend: ph1, jay park, slom... They got BamBam too (you know him now!) and Soyoon recently (she's the one NJ mentions when explaining why he knows their studio is at XXX 4th floor, So Se Non is her band). They have cover songs and also original songs. The guy in the red jacket (Kim Minsu) releases his songs as Implanted Kid, maybe you like some of them ^^ (also in the channel). He mentioned he is subscribed since they had 80K and now they have 1.8M :D
Jay Park just recently also did an episode with them. Jay is one of those artists that i would love to see you react to, but people are already suggesting so much for you to watch that i havent said anything. Maybe at some point you could check something out. Ether his solo stuff, or something from #Red_Tape wich is a compilation album he made with the artists that are signed to his hiphop label called H1gher Music. Almost everyone has started with The Purge, and its a good song. But if you wanna see another Psick episode, i definetly recommend the one with Jay Park.✋️
You don't understand because everything they're teaching Namjoon has to be understood within Korean idiosyncracies. Korean culture has a social hierarchy based in age. Younger people owe respect and obedience to older people, while older people are expected to be role models, to guide and mentor those who are younger. This plays a role in all social interactions, within school, work, socio-politics and even family dynamics. Korean men have to do mandatory military service before 30 years old, so when they're on their early 30s is when most of them are settling down or more stable in terms of work and financial security. They tend to marry older, on their 30s or 40s. So, a lot of what these guys are teaching Joon are just funny customs of how to "act like a grown up and take care of your young coworkers or employees or younger friends, now that you're entering a more mature stage of life". Koreans also have a drinking culture, they have work events in which employees go to eat together at restaurants, or maybe when people talk to clients they may do it in a restaurant, and the elder person has to serve the alcohol to the younger person, and the younger person can't look at the older person's eyes (it's impolite, it comes from historical social norms). Plus, if you go out or hang out with an older friend or older brother, usually they will pay for the meal of the younger person, specially on a special occasion like a celebration or a birthday. They were also talking about different neighborhoods, some commercial ones where young people go to hang out or have study meetings, other neighborhoods are known for being more expensive so if you move there, it means you must be "rich" or successful (to afford it, the implication is that you "made it", you have a certain social status). This show is very Korean... They also made some puns that are world play jokes in Korean language. Hopefully I gave an idea of what is this about. Note: Keep in mind your age is determined by the year in which you were born, and that even 1 year of age difference matters. You can only speak casually/without honorifics to people who were born the same year than you, your same-age friends. In any other situation, the older sibling v/s little sibling dynamic is present (regardless of gender, women use honorifics too).
I don't know if you've seen it already but there is this video where RM explains every song on the album and how the collaboration process was. If you're interested and would like tto react to it, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/видео.html
And when Yoongi followed that kitchen furniture company out spite for hate Tae got from following TOP of Bigbang? It was hilarious. Bunch of people followed that page too
Okay, my head finally figured out you mean like online following, but initially I imagined Tae like getting lost and following some random sod in the streets, getting noticed by thousands of ARMY and being followed, lol. It was a pretty funny image in my head.
18:29 there are definitely some sheep who would but why would any sane person follow someone for no reason? i followed no-one, like for example i did started following balming tiger (and omega sapien) after rm collaborated with them because they make good music and omega sapien is a cool dude but not just because of the collaboration
@kabazinga But that is exactly why people, NOT SHEEP, would follow any of these guys or their show IG account, because they LIKED IT. They liked the format of the show, they liked their personalities, they liked the comedy style, and they want to watch more content from these guys, or more from that one guy. So what is the difference? You don't like their comedy, ok perfect, but others can really dig these type of content and would want to watch more. By the way, I also liked Balming Tiger after RM collab. I started followed them, and even went to their gig in Tokyo. See? That is cool, right? You never know how or where you will meet your next favorite artists, sometimes they come from recommendations like this.
@@Dani.Torres what are you talking about? i am talking about people who follow because something was mentioned or liked by the members, not because the people themselves also like it, there is nothing bad in following etc when you actually care but if you don't it's dumb and sheep behaviour, and where did i say i did not like these guys' comedy? i can like it without wanting to follow them, why are you attacking me 💀
@@kabazinga I am not attacking you, I am defending the people you're calling sheep. Why if they follow someone JUST because someone they liked mentioned them. What's the problem? They'll have their reasons. Oh no! Are those reasons not enough for you? WOW sorry for existing. What about we let people follow whoever they want for whatever reason? Not hard to do.
@@Dani.Torres and what benefit is there to follow someone you do not care about? who's posts do not interest you? i guess clog your timeline with random people if you want to but not something for me, if you idk follow every person your friends tag or something you will end up following literally everyone on every platform
@@kabazinga Why do you care so much on how other people use their social media? You use it as you like, right? Why other's can't? What is wrong with that? What is wrong with people following who they want because of whatever reason? Why does that bother you to the point you insult people over that? What are the benefits of you judging people on how or why they follow others? Think about it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA I can't believe you did this chaotic interview
Lol I had a Korean person being very surprised that international ARMY watched this episode. Apparently it’s pretty Korean standup humour lol Korean has a bunch of youtube shows that are pretty popular and RM clearly is a fan of this one 😆
please watch "jay park" on PSick Show!!!!!!!!
RM cheesing is hilarious!!! We all know that's not the way he speaks. BTW did you know he self-taught English?! Pls add his Zack Sang Indigo albumn interview and the Pharrell/RM Rolling Stone interview to your list
7:51 "What the hell am I watching?!" I literally see this line coming 🤭🤣😂 Idk baby! you are more updated than me of their content at this point 🤣
This was so hilarious 😂 i actually didn't see this interview before
Even tho i dont understand every reference, its sooo funny to watch this show lol
I'm also so confused and so amused by the show and your reaction 😄😄
Two little things came to my mind while watching:
1. 6:20 I don't watch Jimmy Kimmel.
On their show Run BTS or on travels they got limited funds they may use which leads to some interesting and funny situations (which ARMY call "BTS the broken millionaires")
💜💜
18:30 Nope, he didn't get any surge of followers, but we did checked the account because he posted some photos ^^
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
Seeing your reaction to poeple using joon's reall name is always funny to me XD
Jay Park just recently also did an episode with them. Jay is one of those artists that i would love to see you react to, but people are already suggesting so much for you to watch that i havent said anything. Maybe at some point you could check something out. Ether his solo stuff, or something from #Red_Tape wich is a compilation album he made with the artists that are signed to his hiphop label called H1gher Music. Almost everyone has started with The Purge, and its a good song. But if you wanna see another Psick episode, i definetly recommend the one with Jay Park.✋️
Pls watch the interview with Pharrell and rm😔😔
😘💜🤟🏻
29:09 that's artist/group
💜
I don't know if you've seen it already but there is this video where RM explains every song on the album and how the collaboration process was. If you're interested and would like tto react to it, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/lRy8OYhLO-A/видео.html
20:33 I remember when Tae accidentally followed someone and thousands of ppl started following them 😭
And when Yoongi followed that kitchen furniture company out spite for hate Tae got from following TOP of Bigbang? It was hilarious. Bunch of people followed that page too
@@pishop.ot7692 yoongi was so real for that but armys are really something else for following that kitchen acc 😭😂
Okay, my head finally figured out you mean like online following, but initially I imagined Tae like getting lost and following some random sod in the streets, getting noticed by thousands of ARMY and being followed, lol. It was a pretty funny image in my head.
@@chere100 😭😂
Isnt it comedy, spoof?
Don't try to understand Psik, just go with the vibe, the whole concept is being messy, totally brazen and taking anything to the extreme! 🤣🤣🤣
Fun times
18:29 there are definitely some sheep who would but why would any sane person follow someone for no reason? i followed no-one, like for example i did started following balming tiger (and omega sapien) after rm collaborated with them because they make good music and omega sapien is a cool dude but not just because of the collaboration
@kabazinga
But that is exactly why people, NOT SHEEP, would follow any of these guys or their show IG account, because they LIKED IT.
I did not enjoy your reaction at all. It's almost as if you ridiculed them. Not fun at all.
