@AstrayChronicle don't forget, in your original comment, you were the one doubting the accuracy of the vid's description and suggested that this footage was likely of today's born. remember, my comment was in response to your basis, that even if the vid description was wrong, it's still very possible that the footage is still from born in 2005-2006.
holy crap dude, i was looking for this video for the longest time. could u upload the whole battle if u have it plz? the flares with the chair was kinda dope ^^
@DaSoulCity I just meant the battle attitude and moves is a lot like what it is today. The pauses at the start of the set, the fooling around with the crowd, etc. I thought these changes were brought by his affilation with MZK rather then him naturally progressing to it.
@TippmanFaith Lol why would I get mad? I've already seen that vid many times in the past which is why I said "And yes I know Born uses some of the same techs and mini routines in his sets. Don't we all?". I'm glad you find this vid possibly occurred in 05-06 when the description states it in 05. That's true because Dosi battle only occured in 05.
yea i was lookin for this video for longest too gyuhankim damn, u know who this is XD... im so happy to see his these old sets again TT born was so sick back then and he so sick now wtf?
"Are you going to argue that he did not kill the beat in this video? He was completely on point." what are you talking about kid? when did i argue that he did not kill the beat in this video?
@TippmanFaith As I clarified to DaSoulCity I meant I was surprised his style had progressed like this before MZK influence. I already knew when Dosi occurred at the time of my first post and I had no doubt this was in 05.
@AstrayChronicle i wasn't arguing about the quality of the set in this vid. it's obviously good. i said, this vid reminds me of born from ibe 2005, boty 2006. you asked, "how so?" i linked you a vid. if you watched it, you would've seen that in the 2nd set of the linked vid, born kills the beat in a very similar fashion to the way he killed the beat in the 2nd set of this vid. i think it's very possible that this vid is from 2005-2006. you asked, i explained. don't get mad now.
@TippmanFaith Nah he wasn't trash. Like i said they were okay sets. On beat but not on point. And yes I know Born uses some of the same techs and mini routines in his sets. Don't we all? Now the difference between his sets here and in Boty is how it matches the music. Are you going to argue that he did not kill the beat in this video? He was completely on point. Boty he rocked the beat and killed some of them. IBE he rocked some more but repeated a lot. Some were memorable, some were not.
@TippmanFaith How so? In IBE he kept repeating himself and really didn't have anything to back up his attitude. He had two good sets in that event. Everything else was okay at best. In Boty Korea he was a lot better but didn't kill it as hard as this.
@AstrayChronicle wow, you make it sound like he was trash back in the day. i have to disagree with you. some of his most memorable sets are from ibe 2005 and boty korea 2006. anyways, compare his second set in this video (pay attention to 1:12, 1:29, 1:42) to the second set in the linked video (pay attention to 1:08, 1:18, 1:22): watch?v=OfCEK3M4_70 if you don't see the similarity, then whatever, think what you want.
@TippmanFaith I meant you're not going to deny he did very good sets and in my opinion these sets were far better than his sets in Boty and IBE. So if you think these are good sets then why are you arguing with me. Lol I'm not talking about anything but Born and you get lost? Mmm nice calling me a kid.
i think his old sets are so much better than now. it has so much flavor...

What the hell? You sure this was 05? It looks a lot like his style today. I mean Born in 05 is completely different from what he is today.

As I clarified to DaSoulCity I meant I was surprised his style had progressed like this before MZK influence.
