The Depth and Command of knowledge and commitment to excellence is self evident. The General has a deep understanding of complexity, we are lucky to have this strength of knowledge and clarity of focus in place. in a complex world we need deep understanding AND clarity to core values. If you listen closely you will hear his contextual understanding of the productive value of the UN and the key importance of NATO and much more.... including his deep ability to understand and place in context what seems to be an infinitely complex area of continual global challenges.
