I was looking for a super cheap gpu to put in my htpc along i7 2600/16GB ram. Got a GamingX 960 2GB for 25eur, way way better performance than 750ti, 730s, etc.. at this price range( as long as the psu can handle 90-100w max load plus the 6pin). Im getting an RX 430 2GB (15eur) tomorrow for another pc, browsing the web duties.

Hi @Kanivalos80 and thanks for your comment mate. The i7 2600 is a legend of a CPU, used one myself right up until I migrated to 3rd Gen Ryzen. That's a good price on a GTX 960, I'm looking forward to seeing how the 960 does gaming-wise. That price on the 430 is spot on, and it'll do display out duties no problem. Cheers, Bob.

Hmmmm here in my country the gt 730 is at the same price that the r7 430 at 32$, I wonder if the r7 is better enough that the r5 to be a good purchase over the gt 730

Hi @LovelyZaia, and thanks for your comment mate. I haven't compared the GT 730 with the R7 430, so couldn't say if it offered better performance. The R7 430 has a 128-bit memory bus which will improve performance over the R5 430, which only has a 64-bit memory bus. Now, the GT 730 can come with a 64-bit or 128-bit memory bus, mine has 64-bit, and I don't think there's a reliable way to tell which one your going to get. I feel another comparison video coming, cheers, Bob.

That being said, if you can find a Quadro K620 for the same price, that's faster than either of these two cards, and is currently one of my favourite low-profile GPUs.

@yesterdaysram1375 cheap quadro k620 are elusive around here, sometimes there are stores that sell it at 35$ but right now they have it between 45$ and 65$, and my budget is very tight 😓

@yesterdaysram1375 well the company that are selling those cheaper versions of the card here actually put in the description that they have 64-bits memory bus, I think there are 128-bits cards out there but they aren't cheap at all, the cheapest non-oem card costs 75$ dollars!

Are they both GDDR5? If the GT 730 is the DDR3 version, then it's the R7 430 for sure!

Horrible idea, look at how BudgetBuildsOfficial does their channel. Add a little bit of history, commentary, a little of drauga1 zest...
Then Rebrand to RamRanch because its a pun on something utterly horrible.

Hi @nadirafurry, and thanks for watching mate. I'll watch some more BudgetBuildsOfficial videos, I mainly watch RandomGaminginHD and Iceberg Tech. This was my 3rd R5 430 video, will try to remember to cover the ground work again. I googled RamRanch, lol, Yesterday's Ram is an I.T. Crowd pun, which is a British sit-com from the mid 00s. Cheers, Bob.

Thank you! I've been running this channel, as a hobby, for the past few years, now. With not much free time, I can usually manage to upload one video about every two months. I've got one more in me this year, will be live before the end of the year. Cheers, Bob.
