Is the Zildjian 348 line quieter than the 468 line ? Which one should I pick ?
I'd like an even more weathering on the finish. That's just my preference. Good vid
Which one of the two brands fits better with the RTom Black Hole pads?
Sounds like Zildjian L80s are quieter than the Sabians. Both RTOM Black Holes and L80s are advertised to lower the sound by 80%, not sure about the Sabian's percent.
Just watched another comparison video the Sabian QuietTone's had 87-90 decibels and the Zildjian L80s had, wait for it, 80 decibels. If it helps, I just ordered the L80s and I'm gonna match them with the RTOM Black Hole pads.
Sabian are far more durable and not much louder. To reduce some of the harsh overtones you can use moongel. It does wonders on the ride.
I should really use ear phones for low cymbal sound
I’ve got Zildjian sound decent I think the Sabian sound better
Them silent cymbals suck compared to the normal ones.
