The glue!! I was struggling with this after watching another video that didn't mention that some models are glued. Used a hair dryer and it did the trick. Thank you!!!
I thought the heat gun thing would work but doesnt seem to be helping me. when I first thought it was just seized up, i sprayed some penetrating oil and it seemed to open up some play between the motor shaft and the fan but still wont come off. I've been heating the shaft with a torch for about 10 minutes and it still doesnt want to come off! Anything else i can try????
Sometimes they become seized together over time. If this happens, you have to cut off the shaft with a reciprocating saw and replace the drive motor and blower motor together at the same time.
