First Place (An Acoustic Jays Parody)

Here's an acoustic version of my 2015 Blue Jays parody, first place. Some of the players referenced in this song are no longer with the team, and they are definitely missed. Even though the lyrics are no longer up to date, I still find myself singing this tune every now and again. For me, the song serves as a reminder of that incredible 2015 stretch run, and how special it was as it was happening. This version is meant to be more nostalgic than current, and I hope that is reflected in the performance. Looking back on it now, the song and the season both still remain very special to me. Maybe you feel the same way :)

2015 was such a great year hadn't it been for the two world series years that year is the greatest in team history. That was a special team and no one can ever take that away from us!

This is beautiful. Well done. I've liked that video too. Sadly, your popularity with jays fans for those viral jays videos doesn't look like it translates to your own music career. I wouldn't worry if i was you. You just tapped the wrong market and got great results. Now you can do your own thing on this channel, and how about creating a new channel solely for making parodies for other baseball clubs, nhl clubs, football clubs, etc. if this is a side hobby that you're really good at, don't limit it to blue jays fans. fuck that. and I'm a blue jays fan. Expand my brother expand. Not here though, the ones you attracted here might cause shit for your new kind of videos. Expand in to the worl d of youtube and i think you'll do a lot better. peace and love your work.
