For dkc1 it was, David Wise, Robin Beanland, and Eveline Fischer For dkc2 it was mostly David Wise, some people errounsely say he did all songs but Eveline Fischer at least did Snowbound Land (which is a straight up banger). For dkc3 it was afaik only Eveline, some people think the soundtrack of dkc3 is weaker but I think it's fucking dope!

David Wise is quite overrated and people forget Eveline Fischer was also an important pilar/contribution to DKC's original OST, such as Simian Segure, Northern Hemispheres, Voices of the Temple, etc. Her music is s iconic as Wise's and people conveniently ignore that.

Como de costume adoramos ver todos os nomes dos personagens, começando dos vilões até os heróis principais, para depois chegar na equipe dos desenvolvedores. Pecou bastante na falta desse detalhe, visto que nos anteriores pra GBA e nos três jogos para SNES, tá tudo lá perfeitamente ótimo. No geral, só isso mesmo

To be honest the GBA versions of Donkey Kong Country are beyond butchered. Alot of effects are removed. The gamma is unrealisticly high (other games manage to deal with the no back lit screen issue without increasing the gamma). Also pseudo-3d games dont work in low resolutions. Sonic Blast is a fantastic example.

The original score for DKC3 was dark and ambient, and now everything sounds like something from a damn carnival. I hate it. Don't get me wrong, I love David Wise's stuff but this re-done soundtrack completely destroys the atmosphere of the original.
They switched up quite a few little things like that when transitioning the snes game into gba ones. Truth is that the snes had better sound capabilities... If your gonna re live any of your childhood memories, do it on the console, not the game boy ports... DS is probably fine Idk about that one

Very different. They f**ked up the world map and area maps. The music has been changed, mostly worse than the SNES version. I love the SNES version and even finished playing just yesterday, but this version sucks in comparison. I'd go as far to say that DKL 3 for Game Boy is better than this. In Japan, it's called Donkey Kong GB: Dinky Kong & Dixie Kong and it's in color! It's inferior to the SNES version but at least it's very faithful to it. This, however, is a mess!

The GBA OST is probably better than the SNES from a listening perspective aside from the extra compression. But the songs don’t fit the levels as much.

Pales in comparison to the snow themes from the first two games. But in general, I prefer listening to the GBA for most of the other tracks. Problem is they fit the levels about as well as a square in a circle hole.

The GB used a similar soundtrack like the SNES only that it's in 8-bit while the SNES is 16-bit.Weird that they didn't use it in this version.
David wise found it too problematic to port the original soundtrack, so making new music from scratch was the better solution.

They upped the brightness to compensate for lack of backlight on the original GBA hardware.
