You can use toncoin, is the same. Ton is a Blockchain, while toncoin is the native coin used in the TON Blockchain. I'm using a normal Trust Wallet, nothing like pro here.
Go ahead and connect your wallet address. You will not lose your coins. Both the ones on stake and the ones on your balance are all safe. Even if mining ends today, all your coins will be added up together, both from the staked coin and non-staked coins. So keep mining and staking.
After you tap on the search icon at the top left, just below the search icon field, there is a drop down icon(🔻). In the drop down icon, I selected all networks. Just watch the video again you will see what I'm saying, watch it closely you will see where it's written "all network". So check your trust wallet and make sure you select all network from the drop-down icon.
Once you open your trust wallet, tap on crypto, then you Scroll down, then tap on manage crypto, then you search for TON, and then tap on the + plus icon next to the TON to add it to your list of crypto. By doing this you will be able to find TON henceforth. Thanks

If you can't see ton coin you most likely have a beta account not a main account
The main account is the one that has the back up code
