OK, I learned something right off the bat. I always wondered why Moss Body was supposed to be so great. But I just thought it would fail 25% of the time, and then it would burst into a cloud of poison and that would be that. I guess I misunderstood the description of the spell. Thanks, Lucid!
Thing about mossbody is that it also blocks spell damage. The only spells that ignore it, are internal damage spells like Incinerate, Frozen heart, Blood boil, Sailor's death. Disintegrate and stream of life are also internal. But they are are mr checks instead of dmg.
If you use Send [Lesser] Horror or Ghost Riders onto your own fort and either don't patrol or leave PD or just have a low enough amount to lose to the indie attack, seducers will be unable to seduce since the independent faction 'owns' the province.
If you don't have Nature but you still want to pick off an important enemy undead mage/commander, Solar Rays is sometimes able to do this on forward deployed mages. It is only AP Damage, but it's a 100 precision spell and the base damage is high enough to go through protection quite often.
Nice video. Good collection of tricks. Ideas for the next one... Cheap turn timer counter to SC's. One mage casting rigor mortis and another casting Howl. Watch as the enemy SC sleeps with the wolfs until everything dies. (works on most non fire shielded SC's). Army of berserkers + growing fury and retreat. All berserkers go nuts. Caster retreats so other mages won't get affected in longer battle. The weird interaction between storm and storm power. Strom arrives at the same time as mages start second spell so scripts may or may not work. Lich with teleport and wind of death. Cheap dark servant thugs to take small ponds. (Blacksteel full plate + barksin amulet for example) Soul vortex batteries for mages to keep on casting under fatigue plays like rigor mortis. Regen vine ogres for example are great (high HP low MR and mindless). Buffing elementals. Tricky but rewarding.
Also I'm pretty sure a phoenix pyre golem loses offensively to skelespammers with bodyguards, LLP, or other battle-summon spammers, so it can really only be used in controlled circumstances where you fight either defensively or teleport onto an army without visible chaff generation.
Rod of the leper will cause the unit holding it to become diseased. Not as much of an investment as a bane venom charm. The swallow of a gelatinous cube should be paired with either tangle vine spam, or paralyze. You can also quicken the cubes so they attack faster.
Moss Body is better than I thought! I thought it popped any time you took any damage at all. I am going to have to try Moss Body out on my Shuten-dojis.
I actually figured out the fly thing on my own as a new player didn't know why my sacred flyers weren't flying and just walking lol, good to know though.
I think my favorite thing about this video is that its about obscure strategies - and half the time some other even more obscure bullshit happens that fucks them up 😂
There is honestly only one reason I am opposed to mods that let you mass produce artifacts and that is the Horror Harmonica Golem. It would choke the game all on it's own.
How did I miss this ! Haven't watched it yet - but I hope you mention the repel god you faced in that one game on that map with all those planets. One thing I hope they do for Doms 6 is a super wish where you can wish to Add or Remove TAGS - imagine being able to wish for 50 of each gem or whatever to give a caster Innate Caster or mindless or remove Undead would be sick as FUCK
Lucid, everyone knows that line formation blocks flying. I cant imagine a single person with a ton of hours in this game not knowing that. It'd be pretty silly if someone didn't know this, lost a massive battle because of it, and then had to learn that.

And Dust to Dust.
If your opponent is using a flesh eater this is a great way to trigger an early berserk in order to interrupt an undead SC's script.
I just started forging those lances in the game that allow casting it, for commanders who sit in the back like lumps anyway

I always wished there were more ways to get gelantinous cubes. They're iconic.
We need a cube-themed nation
@@Petterwass Maybe I should learn how to mod to make the Yeti, Gelantinous Cube/Cube nation of our dreams!
I've been trying to turn into a gelatinous cube, but I keep getting spherical, instead. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :)
@@Bill_Garthright you need to remove your brass eye first ;)
A bit late to this party but if you try bozmod I think you can even get one as a pretender

Awesome love it...I'm not even going to say what I didnt know in this video.
When you thought you finally know the rabbit hole...
-Alice- Lucid is showing you even more.
Axe of hate should be a good counter to phoenix pyre golem. Good anti thug weapon to have in your stockpile in general if you have nature 👍
yup!
Holy hell I never thought to use cubes like that. That's incredibly strong. Now the challenge is catching the thug with your cubes.
That's what gift of flight is for ;P
Wow some of these are amazing, thanks for the video!
I actually figured out the fly thing on my own as a new player didn't know why my sacred flyers weren't flying and just walking lol, good to know though.
Really cool video, thank you!

I'm suprised you didn't put army of rats + flames from skies combo in there
Arco phoenix pyre golem stuff, true healer to fix up this mindless massmurderers afflictions
Good stuff

check the detailed battle log on the golem to see what hit it
What? Its the horror standing right next to it, its the why thats confusing him not the whodunit

Nah Lucid's a vet remember, he wouldn't fuck up that easily ;p
What map is this?
the only way to counter blood vengeance is to max of the max MR?
A few things don't trigger it like trample and charm. You can also fight BV dudes with battle summons.
Fun vid!
Cool video
Throwing flaming poo at your enemies for fun and profit.
This is the guy strategizing Ukraine's war. I guess it's worked out so far fellas?
