Absolutely stellar! I love Rapture as much as the rest of you but the synths in this track gives me that same feeling back in 2001. I think Markus has done an amazing job constructing the music around a vocal as amazing as nadia's. Really impressed and so glad this is their new single, bring on the remixes!!
@JeanMaria93 What has Markus done? Well, he re-released Rapture in 2007 and 2008, and had Frank Bailey remix their songs and throw them together on a remix album. Now in 2011, all these left over songs from Poetica have been mixed onto an album 6 years after Nadia has been fully separated from him in the professional sense. Nadia is gearing up to release her 2nd album, has just been nominated for a Grammy for collaborating with Morgan Page...kinda all speaks for itself lol
@JeanMaria93 Embers took so long due to Nadia being self-produced and independent. She bided her time doing live gigs and finding producers for the album (she eventually settled on 3) to be able to pay for the album's production. Now there is no stopping her. Every few months a new song or remix or video with her in it comes out. And I love Feels so Good! Esp live or acoustic. Man she is talented! But look at Markus, 6 years after Nadia moves on he's still releasing songs she wrote! :P
@JeanMaria93 Do not get me wrong, I love iiO (hence my username!). However, look at the history. Nadia leaves iiO suddenly after they take 5 years to complete an album. From 2001 to 2005 they kept me waiting for new material, and when it finally all came together she was no longer a part of it. They even stopped making music videos and fully supporting their music together. Now Nadia is solo, she's EVERYWHERE, performing live and collaborating with every DJ in the industry.
@iio4eva I wasn't comparing Nadia and Markus's career(having collaborated with the likes of Armin,Dresden, etc.,it's obvious who brings the most cash home).I was curious, because you speak like Markus's exploiting Nadia's talent to "prop himself up".Honestly,I have yet to listen to a bad song by Nadia(I can even tolerate "Feels so good" when I'm in a good mood),but not even a Grammy nomination is enough to outshine "Rapture".And Nadia took 4 years to release Embers(it was in the works since 2005).
@Beautifu1B1urr How is strange? There has been request for this album for years and there was all this stuff on the back burner so why not go trough with and release it for the masses? I seriously doubt Nadia won't be getting paid for this.
But he seems greedy I mean he still used her songs and vocals and released songs and earned money after she left and didn't given her money or credit so would nadia stick to him.
@@Hurricanetongue all groups split at some point anyway so you know what Marcus doing he quit music or what nadia is on and off but still in the industry what happend to him
@HealthandHarmony209 I'm not sure Marcus is still making music. I believe nadia left cause she was so frustrated at Poeticas album rollout. Rapture was released in 2001 and the album wasn't released until 2005/2006. By that point all the hype had died down.
@iio4eva "Feels so good" is a cheap, unoriginal production, which Nadia's seductive vocals had to carry on their shoulders,to be honest.I was relieved when I learnt that the lyrics weren't written by Nadia. But I digress.Discarded demo or not,I think this is a brilliant track by Nadia and Marcus. And hopefully the rest of the album will be good from start to finish, just as Poetica was.
@iio4eva iiO is a group and I'll support Markus in his career as much as I support Nadia.Yes,Nadia's voice is what delivers soul to Markus' productions, but would she attain the same degree of success without him?And the fact that a lot of her solo work falls sub-par compared to her years as part of iiO re-inforces this.I admire and respect Nadia as much as you do,but 90% of her success is owing to her iiO background. So claiming that he's "cashing in on Nadia's success" is very unfair to Markus.
@tobbe2k I disagree! This has no where near as much emphasis on her vocals as old school iiO :( however, I am finding myself getting very addicted to this song! I think that being Nadia has been emacipated from iiO for 6 years and counting, Markus is just simply milking the discarded demos from Poetica, and trying to make a name for himself as a producer. Not to mention cashing in on Nadia's amazing success in her solo career. I love iiO and wish Nadia was still a part of it, but she is not.
My fav iiO songs in order:
1. Rapture
2. It’ll be like
3. Is it love
4. At the end

I hope iiO never dies out. They still have retained that edgy sound that has always made them so distinct.

I honestly prefer Nadias work with Marcus as iio compared to her solo work. I just feel her and Marcus compliment each other so well. I miss iio.
But he seems greedy I mean he still used her songs and vocals and released songs and earned money after she left and didn't given her money or credit so would nadia stick to him.
@@HealthandHarmony209 I agree with you, but I still stand that nadias best work is when she was with him. The first iio album was full of great songs.

It's true he is cashing in on her money she left the band then he used her vocals and lyrics which she recorded earlier isn't it stealing

This version is chopped! :((
Too mouch focus on her vocals.
i think this is really sub par to iios old stuff, like "rapture", and "at the end"... MEH
