There is no way i'd allow my MFA codes to be backed up online, kind of defeats the point of 'security through separation'. Its way easier to buy a second cheap phone/tablet, transfer the codes over but don't delete the originals from your phone. Then put your second cheap phone/tablet somewhere safe. filing cabinet or safe etc. This way, you have a backup, if your phone is lost or stolen, or your codes get wiped. I'd recommend occasionally, charging up the second device, and turn it on from time to time and sync the time on the device, as sometimes the codes can get de-synced and generate the wrong code, as the phones time plays a crucial part in generating the code.
2FAs within password managers delete the need for 2FA. As the name suggests - 2nd factor isn't 2nd when combined with 1st - password. The 1password could leak your credentials and you might be golden with an integrated 2fa. Better of is using Yubikeys for storing the keys locally on the device where these are encrypted and are 2nd factor. This video is just ad for 1password
