Team-Based Transdisciplinary Approach to Research Education and Training

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute is taking an innovative approach to investigator training to address bottlenecks in the current translational research model. The new protocol, supported by grant funding from the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment, reimagines the research ecosystem to emphasize collaboration between the clinical translational research enterprise, health systems, and a community of stakeholders to achieve better health outcomes, all the while increasing the benefits of health research to underserved communities.
