PNG Gura my beloved I bet you didn't think you'd have to think so much right after coming back It's good to see again! Hope you're doing okay and weren't too busy, but it sounds like there's a lot to be excited for!
Regarding the Di**ey World stream, I don't think it's about nerd or cringe or whatever. People were just caught off guard when you went from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds and kept going strong throughout the entire stream. In my opinion, the way you got invested into this is what I think is the whole point of these theme parks (ignoring the money aspect). People are meant to get invested in them, get lost in their magic, get excited about all the fun things you can do and see. Seeing you get balls to the wall hyped over everything was incredibly adorable and is just a part of you being you. People trying to make it look like it's something bad most likely just don't have something they can get _this_ excited about and as a result trying to take the fun from everyone else as well.
Yeah I found it adorable, somewhat contagious as well as genuinely interesting to hear about all that stuff, about if the rides are accurate etc. as I doubt I'll ever be able to go to Disney World myself (Live far away and have social anxiety so travels plus crowds and all... it'd be... a little too much) Heh I even watched videos of the actual rides that some people have posted on youtube afterwards to see how they compare! I also love Gura's enthusiasm for food. She's such a foodie.. like how her only criticism to the people mover was that you're not allowed to eat in it and she wish you could
I was genuinely impressed by her expertise. I was endlessly amused to no end by how much she knew about the food and where each kind of food was located.
I am disgusted by what Disney has become, but even I can put myself in the shoes of those who still love it and understand why. Gura has her own interests, and she loves the Disney parks. And it's understandable, a lot of time and effort went into making them amazing. I may not have much desire to go there, but I can understand why people love them, and I even sometimes watch videos on them to appreciate the work, the effort, the whimsy, that went into making them. Long story short? Gura likes what she likes, and everyone is free to have their own likes and dislikes.

We missed you a lot Chef. Really glad you're back now. Don't worry too much about the PNG. You're still cute even when cardboard. For those 2hu games, look at something like Imperishable Night. Should be an easy enough one to jump into. As for The Binding of Isaac: It is a really slow burner. You constantly unlock new stuff the more you win, so the good stuff can take a while to reach.
I wish the non-Flash version of Binding of Isaac still had the old music. The creepy ambient soundtrack of the new version is good, but a lot of the old tracks were real bangers.

1:40:25 I was watching this live and I wanted to see if the chat reacted to it. I respected the chat for not mention but now that I see the archive, there were there just to fast for me to see.
So, I'm kind of a lurker, 'cuz I have no sense of time, so I watch the archives... but I heard you say that there might be a chance of you playing a Touhou game on stream, so I have to be that guy and say... yes, please XD The series became very important to me, so I'd like to give a liiiiitle push to see if it can happen. Also, maybe a little info so you can choose which one. Thing is, even though all games have the same general mechanics (move, shoot, bomb, hold down the left shift key to move slowly/use the alt shot-type), each game has its own mechanic. Like Th18 has money, so you can buy a skill or attack at the end of each stage, 16 has a secondary shot-type that is powered up separatedly from the main one, etc. My advice would be Th17, though. In that one, some enemies drop a special item when killed, and when you pick it up, it gets stored on a side bar. Pick 5 items to fill the bar, and you enter a super mode, depending on what you picked (3 wolves = forward attack, 3 eagles = spread attack, 3 otters = orbitals that block bullets, just points if none of those), so it makes the player feel very powerful. You can play any Touhou game for any reason, like you know a song, or for certain character, or it looks more interesting, etc, and I'll be happy either way XD
In the UK it is not uncommon to use a penny as a makeshift screwdriver, good for untightening those screw on the VGA cable that are a pain when to tight or using a penny to loosen the screws on a radiator to bleed it :)
Learning Gura can tie a cherry stem in a knot has sent me down a weird rabbit hole that started with me trying to learn how to do it myself. I left the rabbit hole after finding some classic humor in a video from 10 years ago that was made by a scene girl. She kept making videos all these years but her viewership fell off a cliff 7 years ago but she just kept making videos anyway. That knowledge made me sad... All I wanted to learn was the cherry thing, I am impressed that Gura can do it though because it's pretty hard. Also her reason of "it's just something you learn after eating enough cherries" makes me laugh because I've eaten a LOT of cherries in my life and never once put the stem in my mouth haha.
Gura being hooked on the cookie clicker section was beyond cute and funny. If you ever get the urge to do a chat stream with a clicker game I be all for that Gura

Gura speaking french is a thing I never knew dont j'avais autant besoin.
Regarding the Di**ey World stream, I don't think it's about nerd or cringe or whatever. People were just caught off guard when you went from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds and kept going strong throughout the entire stream. In my opinion, the way you got invested into this is what I think is the whole point of these theme parks (ignoring the money aspect). People are meant to get invested in them, get lost in their magic, get excited about all the fun things you can do and see. Seeing you get balls to the wall hyped over everything was incredibly adorable and is just a part of you being you. People trying to make it look like it's something bad most likely just don't have something they can get _this_ excited about and as a result trying to take the fun from everyone else as well.

Yeah I found it adorable, somewhat contagious as well as genuinely interesting to hear about all that stuff, about if the rides are accurate etc. as I doubt I'll ever be able to go to Disney World myself (Live far away and have social anxiety so travels plus crowds and all... it'd be... a little too much)

I also love Gura's enthusiasm for food. She's such a foodie.. like how her only criticism to the people mover was that you're not allowed to eat in it and she wish you could
I was genuinely impressed by her expertise. I was endlessly amused to no end by how much she knew about the food and where each kind of food was located.
I am disgusted by what Disney has become, but even I can put myself in the shoes of those who still love it and understand why. Gura has her own interests, and she loves the Disney parks. And it's understandable, a lot of time and effort went into making them amazing. I may not have much desire to go there, but I can understand why people love them, and I even sometimes watch videos on them to appreciate the work, the effort, the whimsy, that went into making them.
Long story short? Gura likes what she likes, and everyone is free to have their own likes and dislikes.

For those 2hu games, look at something like Imperishable Night. Should be an easy enough one to jump into.
As for The Binding of Isaac: It is a really slow burner. You constantly unlock new stuff the more you win, so the good stuff can take a while to reach.
I would love to see her play Binding of Isaac. Hopefully there's nothing actually stopping them from streaming it, if she asked a while back

I wish the non-Flash version of Binding of Isaac still had the old music. The creepy ambient soundtrack of the new version is good, but a lot of the old tracks were real bangers.

So, I'm kind of a lurker, 'cuz I have no sense of time, so I watch the archives... but I heard you say that there might be a chance of you playing a Touhou game on stream, so I have to be that guy and say... yes, please XD
The series became very important to me, so I'd like to give a liiiiitle push to see if it can happen. Also, maybe a little info so you can choose which one. Thing is, even though all games have the same general mechanics (move, shoot, bomb, hold down the left shift key to move slowly/use the alt shot-type), each game has its own mechanic. Like Th18 has money, so you can buy a skill or attack at the end of each stage, 16 has a secondary shot-type that is powered up separatedly from the main one, etc. My advice would be Th17, though. In that one, some enemies drop a special item when killed, and when you pick it up, it gets stored on a side bar. Pick 5 items to fill the bar, and you enter a super mode, depending on what you picked (3 wolves = forward attack, 3 eagles = spread attack, 3 otters = orbitals that block bullets, just points if none of those), so it makes the player feel very powerful. You can play any Touhou game for any reason, like you know a song, or for certain character, or it looks more interesting, etc, and I'll be happy either way XD

In the UK it is not uncommon to use a penny as a makeshift screwdriver, good for untightening those screw on the VGA cable that are a pain when to tight or using a penny to loosen the screws on a radiator to bleed it :)

Learning Gura can tie a cherry stem in a knot has sent me down a weird rabbit hole that started with me trying to learn how to do it myself.
I left the rabbit hole after finding some classic humor in a video from 10 years ago that was made by a scene girl.
She kept making videos all these years but her viewership fell off a cliff 7 years ago but she just kept making videos anyway. That knowledge made me sad... All I wanted to learn was the cherry thing, I am impressed that Gura can do it though because it's pretty hard. Also her reason of "it's just something you learn after eating enough cherries" makes me laugh because I've eaten a LOT of cherries in my life and never once put the stem in my mouth haha.
