Lenovo is killing it right now with their AMD ryzen laptops and now the Chromebook market. I own their Lenovo Duet but this Flex 5 seems like a solid mid-range Chromebooks for around $400. Mid-range chromebooks have been $500-$700 lately so this Lenovo Flex 5 is a breathe of fresh air.
It's even better now that there's a Core i3 / 8GB / 128GB NVMe / 13.3" FHD option. Thankfully, I was able to purchase one of these configurations on sale at Costco for $350 before tax. IMO, this device is a steal at this price.
I bought my Lenovo Flex 5 about a month ago and really, really like it EXCEPT the battery life is a little disappointing. A far cry better than your average laptop, but for a Chromebook I was expecting more. My HP Chromebook's battery is good for about six hours. I get less than four on this one.

I use the flex 5 also. Although I'm using the 14inch Ryzen 5 version that came with Windows. I needed the Ryzen for photo editing large files. Now I'm running Ubuntu on it great laptop.

Hi i have a few questions: Can you record some music and have maybe diferent apps for it? And how much of a diference is between these system and windows?
And it's really funny because x86 Chromebooks actually run Android applications worse than their ARM counterparts, cost more, and have worse battery life. The expensive Chromebooks should have flagship ARM processors.
The CPU in most intel chrome books is a N4000-N5000 class cpu. And they are weaker than a 5 year old cellphone cpu. They are hot garbage! The CPU in this model is actual decent, no where near as good as Ryzen at similar prices from LENOVO, but decent. This is as stronger than the base model Mac Book Air, which is overpriced, but still significantly better than most Arm based Chromebooks. Now bear in mind, Apple’s A series processors are damn fast, so you would need a flagship Snapdragon CPU to compete with a Apple A series processor. That would make this cost $1000. And they usually only catch up with Apple flagship cellphone CPU about 6 to 8 Months later and they don’t have anything as powerful as the iPad Pro from Qualcomm... YET. I have hope that the latest gen of Arm IP will close that gap.
