    Bravo Dulce, Fabulous Film edit and Voice presentation on - "How To Grow Piquin From Seeds.Part. 1" I enjoyed your video. I think we had one of those plants in my Country, Australia. I don't know if it was the same species. But I remembers burning my fingers. Because I open one of the bulbs. I was just a kid at the time. I think later it went into my blood stream, and it was burning my tongue. I remember for a long for a while, and my mother was giving me water to drink. It went away eventually. I think you're right. They are the hottest Pepper. I'll eat Jalapenos or Red,Green or Yellow Pepper bells and that's it for me. : ) Big Thumbs Up : ) Thank you for sharing Dulce. Enjoy your Week, Kind Regards,Marc Jones in L.A. U.S.A. Australian Vocalist-Pop/Jazz/Ballad & Originals From Sydney, Australia. : )

    Your breed of chili piquins are round and red. The ones that I've known of in south Texas are very tiny & long shaped. You can pick and use them when they're green or turn orange or when red in color. There has to be a type in their differences. Do you know the type I've described? Plz, let me know. Thx!

    I tried growing regular red peppers this year and failed miserably. We started them inside in the spring and then moved them to the garden. Things were growing fine until hail and more hail. I guess I'm going to have to build a green house! I'm not sure if I could keep a Piquin plant alive over the winter in a green house here. I'm betting not. That was quite the crop you had there, after three weeks, it was amazing! Did you get more after that? Do they produce all year long or only in certain seasons?

    • @CandysGarden
      @CandysGarden  6 лет назад +1

      +Canadian Arctic Radio first off, thanks for your awesome comment. Sorry to hear about your pepper plants... I've tried to grow other kinds unsuccessfully, but maybe I just needed to give them more love😉😆😂😂 these peppers will grow all year until the winter, when they kinda "die" but always come back (that is for the older ones)... the little ones growing, we'll have to wait & see... the ones I do have in pots usually are put in our mini greenhouse, to insure survival during the colder weather... if the birds don't get to them before I get to them, we'd have more, but like yesterday, we saw plenty on one plant, & today, there are a lot less cause the birds love them, but oh well, they help me out, so eat up birdies😉😆😊😊

    • @canadianarcticradio4030
      @canadianarcticradio4030 6 лет назад +1

      @@CandysGarden thanks! I picked a few red ones yesterday to try to grow. I have sitting in the open and will them dry until the fruit begins to wrinkle and then probably cut them open and examine the seed. I’m in Texas and these are the native pequin peppers.

    • @CandysGarden
      @CandysGarden  5 лет назад

      Ok, so supposedly, the smaller round ones are pequin, & the longer ones are chilitepin... I grow a lot of the chilitepin, & have one that is true pequin. We recently got a few true pequin from a family member, so i will be growing some soon... Hope it helps out... Still they are in the same family, people just wanna give a hard time about the names. Taste-wise they are all the same. Thanks for watching!!😊😊

    Where did you get the seeds?

    • @CandysGarden
      @CandysGarden  2 месяца назад +1

      Most of them are actually from a random plant that was in my yard. Appreciate you checking out my video🙏😊😊

      FYI: You know that you can package those seeds and sell them online or through your videos. Let buyers pay shipping under a certain amount that's profitable for you. Don't let those seeds go to waste! Linda, Dallas, Tx

      rustyknightjustme, there are 2 different ones i grow, & one are those & the other are pequin. All are naturally pequin, just someone classified them differently, but all are pequin. Still all HOT little boogers really 😆😆

      Sorry, please check the family, genus then species. They are close but not the same. Unfortunately many seed providers make assumptions and result in incorrect labeling. I'm not attacking you, just informing. Have a great day!
