I hate on the Xtreme series a lot for what it did to the main series' reputation, but I'd say the first entry gets a pass JUST for the multiplayer And the music, you can't bash Xtreme's music.

So it's the original develloper (team ninja) to blame when they do the 3D rendering for their video. It's often like that with older opening since they didn't had all the ease of technology of today.
