My biggest problem with bowling shoes in general, not just KR, is that almost every bowling shoe uses a standard D width sole with a narrow toe. The SST6 are the only model shoe on the market (that I know of) with a normal sized toe box. We have more choice than ever in high quality bowling shoes right now, yet every company keeps making the same D width, narrow toed shoes. And wide models of the shoes don't help, because they only increase the width from the heel to the ball of the foot... not in the toebox. And being a lefty, companies don't make wide shoes for lefties.
For the love of the bowling gods, make shoes with wider toe boxes in them!!

This when you make your own bowling shoes with Velcro sheets, replacement soles/heels, and 30 minutes of your time. Find a comfortable pair of new street shoes and go for it. There is no rule that says you must wear shoes that say "Bowling shoes" on the box.
