I'm a fan of psychology, music is supposed to make you feel relaxed or reduce stress and anxiety. However, there is one major problem in songs and it's the ability to make you focus on other tasks. The fact is that music CAN affect your brain's function, it can be by mood or interest. When the song is super good, all you wanted to do is listen to the song. I had this issue many times during LoFi live streams where I'll like a song, and I'll try to find the name of that song to where I'm completely distracted. When I found Brain Fm, I was completely in the zone. Thank you, Brain Fm for my ability to focus on my work. Now here's a note to anybody who reads this: Everybody has different taste on music. Some people might find music hard to focus. So don't expect this to be the perfect song for focus. I'm grateful that Brain Fm published multiple songs to fit your comfort. For me, this is the best song for my focus. It's also important to take breaks, relax yourself. Relaxation improves the function to focus, which is why meditation exists.
We're thrilled to hear that Brain.fm has become your go-to for focus! It's amazing how music can both distract and enhance productivity, isn't it? We're glad our music have helped you overcome those distractions and get into the zone Your point about taking breaks is spot on. Balancing focus with relaxation is key to overall well-being. Thanks for sharing your experience and insights. Happy listening!
It's great to hear that you were able to, and if you'd like to listen to more music that promotes concentration like this one, check out brain.fm from the AppStore! :)

Hi Amde, thanks for the feedback. We're not sure if that's what caused you to be sleepy. We suggest you check out our other focus tracks! Have you had the chance to check out the app?
brain.fm is very different from binaural beats. Binaural beats use stereo separation to create phantom modulation in the brainstem, not what brain.fm is doing. Although both use acoustic modulation, Brain.fm also includes many other sound features designed to help you reach particular mental states. Just to give a few examples, our sleep music uses 3D spatialization to produce relaxing auditory motion (‘rocking’), and our focus music filters out high frequencies that can otherwise be distracting. For more info on the science behind Brain.fm, check out our Science page, which contains our white papers and pilot studies. We're always working on new research, though, so stay tuned for more. 🔬Happy listening!

I hate to be a contrarion, but I find this music a little too monotonous and thereby distracting me within 5 minutes. I have throughout my life listened to jazz fusion to focus, which is a bit more dynamic and closer to real instruments rather than predominantly electronic sounding, and has, certainly not at the scientific level, but otherwise similar backbeats and is also similarly without words to distract. I forget to listen to it periodically and then forget how helpful it is when I start up again. I do understand this music may be very helpful to others as music, in general also can be. And I appreciate the effort and the scientific focus even though I personally don't find it as helpful. For me my much more clear, closer to live sounding music made most often with acoustic and wind instruments producing a significant portion of the sound vibrations is much more pleasureful to my ear and brain. Perhaps a better combination of real and electronica would do the trick? Unsure, but appreciate the effort and help to others. Thanks!
