They should’ve had a recording company do this like they did the Wild at the Greek dvd, but sounding like this. We all know how they REALLY sound, but the Wild at the Greek and Central Park DVD’s are so fucking over produced you can’t really hear their raw punk edge
Great concert, great video......except......why so little footage of Kathy Valentine? I'm guessing the footage of this 2011 concert was edited after her medical leave/departure to remove as much of her presence as possible. Which just seems petty.

Let's be real................been listening to the Go-Gos since I was 11 or so and buying thier albums.....WITHOUT Belinda NOBODY would have ever known the names Charlotte, Jane, Gina or Kathy as it pertains to the Go-gos....the only difference is Gina and Kathy realize this AND Charlotte and Jane think its all their brilliance...Jane and Charlotte stole all that money with their copyright bullshit.....there you go..
Oh gosh. I'll assume for the moment you are not trolling. Think whatever you want about the non-Belinda members of the group, but Jane and Charlotte did not "steal" anything. The royalities from the songs they wrote belong to them, full stop. They yielded a bit of the publishing share to the other members of the band, but that's as far as they had to go. Some might say that was not a good decision, they they should have split the money evenly, but the fact is that money belonged to them. To claim that money was "stolen" is factually, legally and empirically incorrect. An impressive feat, to be so completely wrong.

When Belinda and Jane started the band, they had no idea what they were doing or how to play instruments. Belinda wasn't a songwriter, she was a singer. Jane and Charlotte were the main songwriters and wrote most of the bands biggest hits. So why shouldn't get the most money from the royalties.
