  • Ānantarika Kamma are the most serious offences in Buddhism that, at death, through the overwhelming karmic strength of any single one of them, bring immediate disaster to the doer of those actions.
    Dhamma Teaching by Thanajayo Bhikkhu
Beings are owners of their actions,
heirs of their actions; they originate from their actions, are bound to their actions, have their actions as their refuge.
    It is action that distinguishes
    beings as inferior and superior.
    (Culakammavibhanga Sutta, MN 135)
