I loved the first one so much that I wrote out a full ruleset, added 4 other classes, and created magic items to play it with friends for my birthday. It was hilarious, so much fun, and they ended up killing the dragon ftw! Now I’m taking some of the stuff from this episode to update my ruleset. (Still keeping most of the stuff I wrote, though.)
I literally did this too, and my extra classes were barbarian, bard, warlock, and monk. I also added multiple new bosses but my first time playing with friends should indeed still be the dragon

Eldritch Blast shoots x+1 beams dealing the same damage as the wizard’s magic missile, with x being the number of times the warlock has taken a long or short rest, to a maximum of 4 beams. Armor of Agathys is basically almost like the actual spell, giving them a shield that freezes an enemy after being hit by an attack, and misty step can move the user up to 2 spaces forward, whether in addition to their roll or to avoid an encounter. The monk got interesting, because I wanted to preserve ki points. The monk has 3 ki points that they regain on long rests, and they regenerate 1 ki point on a short rest. Using an ability doesn’t waste the ability but rather consume ki points. Flurry of Blows is worth 1 ki point, letting them attack 2 extra times but at a DC 13 that gives potential to miss or potentially make a harder encounter slightly easier. Stunning Strike is worth 2 ki points and makes an enemy hit with your attack lose a turn. Finally, Diamond Soul is worth 3 ki points and allows you to reroll any movement, saving throw, or ability check and take the second roll.

Great video! Minor note: the editor (but not the players) miscalculated the dragon's health at 54:36 or so in the video. The player did 300 damage x2 from the sharpness, for 600 total damage, but the editor heard "600" and "x2" and made it 1200 damage instead, which explains the discrepancy for the rest of the video.
The misplaced captions says "adjusted to 1200 in the edit" but IDK where the extra x2 would come from (300 *2 for the oil * 2 for ??? ?backstab?). Backstab out of hide was 600 without the oil, so i think it may be accurate. I think the editors also forgot to make the dragon take damage at Carolina villiage. (58:25) He for sure took damage/ paid Val because he burned Legendary resistance earlier. The dragon ends with (18 - Carolina Rent) if 1200 was intentional, (618 - carolina rent) if 1200 was a mistake, but 600 was not, and (918 - Carolina) if both backstabs were accidentally doubled. If the dragon had less money than Carolina rent, he should have died/ morgaged something when the rogue stabbed him in Carolina.

Because this series made me do my own version of D&D Monopoly, I created my own too! Rewriting all of the names of the property spaces to more fantasy-themed spaces, writing special character cards based of classes, and improv-ing many scenarios with skill checks - this video series is so fun. im always excited to watch the next, be it monopoly or another board game. i’m going to try it with my friends soon and see how it goes from there. thank you deficient master for these fun videos T_T

I feel like the Dimension Door should fade after the wizard passes go, or maybe after being used twice or something. It really changes the entire gameplay of the board basically permanently until she uses it again, and in this case it turned out to manipulate the Long Rest mechanics. Other than that, I love the elegant simplicity of the abilities and how well they translate to this game!

There's actually a dnd inspired card game called Dungeon Mayhem where a character you can play is a capitalist / CEO kind of money crazy dragon I always love the idea of putting the classic "dragon sitting on a pile of gold" tradition to our modern world

So after running the numbers during the edit: base damage= 100 sneak damage = 300 (I think this ended up increasing from having 2 magic swords idr exactly how Deficient put it) +100 from magic sword 1 +100 from magic sword 2 x 2 from oil of sharpness so first attack did 1200, second did 600
