Do these builders ever sail ? Or only windward? @3:35 those ''plates' are going to fly away on a real downwind track on sea. Ridiculous! Thanks for this thorough review, also the reason I am not considering a Dufour.
Clearly you weren't born when car came out without RPM indicator..in the old day, we can tell what RPM is just by hearing the noise. I don't know why millenial so concern about RPM indicator 😅
You are right. I usually do hear when it's not where it should be. Guess it's partly a case of "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well". However I stand by my other point that the throttle should be easily reachable even when standing.
Stading on your bathing platform and BBQing some meat or vegetables will be a new high in my boating when I get one of those Dufours.
Nice video! What is your favorite boat in this mid 30 range? (Most value for money).

Dufour has some clever design feature, but I haven't gotten around to testing one.
Might be, you are right about the covers.
You don't seem familiar with usual gear & systems on French boats... 😂
Only fixed windows on this boat.. I wouldn't like to sleep aboard in summertime
Could you point me to an overview, please.
Would like to find out more.
The French have a rich boatbuilding tradition.
Oh, and the multihulls!
On the cheap side of OK.
Well said.
I like Dufours for their often innovative ideas, but would sometimes wish for a little more quality, for example in the fittings.
