Fantastic stories, I think Tony understands the Rubettes well. I have always enjoyed their lesser known tracks and B-sides. Look at Status Quo; they have Parfitt & Rossi whereas the Rubes have John and Alan as the constant members. If the Quo can temporarily tour an 'original' line up again, why not the Rubettes? Imagine how good it would be to hear Tony, Alan, John and Mick play some of the good stuff live on Jools Holland. Play the Game, Sometime in Oldchurch etc....so many great tracks unknown to so many. It would rock!!

It's such a pity the audio is so low but what I can hear , Tony has said more about himself and the history of the Rubettes than I ever read in any Wiki or blog before and thanks for this important piece of popular history .

Should have sacked the front of house sound engineer, sounds like he didn't have a clue what he was doing.

i like alan williams the most about his looks charming etc. but he tells not verry much. nothing about personal lifes etc. private i think. alan williams seems verry nice in intervieuws. but what do i know he is doiing well with his band the rubettes feat alan williams it wood be so nice if they stayed together alan john tony mick etc. t have the feeling thony deserves more than he get. but perhaps i am wrong.
