The Taylor has a solid top, but layered back and sides bracing is not scalloped, The Larrivee and Cort are both solid wood with scalloped bracing. I own both a Cort Gold 06 and a gold D6 both are excellent guitars and I'm looking at purchasing the Gold Passion.
The Larravee had a fast response to an Indvidual note. The Tailor sounded washed out and the Cort was somewhere in between. I have a cheap(er) Cort parlour all Australian blackwood and it is a fantastic sounding guitar.
Thanks for the comment, that is quite right. I must say though that the Larrivée was the hardest to play of the 3... I've heard this problem encountered by more Larrivée users
@@fengcarlos True, it is and it's well worth every penny... You would spend at least twice on other guitars for these appointments that Cort Gold O6 has overall.

To my ear at least the Larrivee clearly has a fuller sound and better sustain.

Agree Larrivee sounds best. I too play a L09, so may be biased.

The Larrivée and the Cort were very similar but the Cort plays easier and feels more luxorious
@77guitarts22 I'm glad you said that because thats what I heard from the video. And I think the Cort is the cheapest one so its a win win for Cort.
