- Every year we make the trip in the fall out to Carvers Orchard to shop, get some candy, eat in the restaurant, and go see the colors. We do it together as a family and it’s just a tradition. Something that we truly enjoy! It’s so beautiful on the drive over to Cosby too! We hope that you will join us on the trip and see what’s happening at Carvers!

Beautiful fall colors. That is the only thing I miss from having lived in Illinois. We do not get a true Fall in Louisiana. Goes from hot to less hot. Thanks for the video.

I live in North Alabama. I’ve got a lot of good memories going to Knoxville to watch Alabama play Tennessee back in the 90’s. We would always go to Gatlinburg and Dollywood. It’s the perfect time to go in late October.

Tennessee is on my bucket list.im currently living in Vermont but I am from maine...beautiful. in New england stuffing is what's in the turkey ..dressing is stuffing made on the side...yes with cranberry !

A turkey dinner is incomplete without cranberries. I can't even imagine turkey without them. The next question is do you like the gelled cranberries you get in a can, or the canned cranberry that is chockful of cranberries. I'd take the latter any day.

And yes, Christy, you have to have cranberry something but it's not a Thanksgiving meal to me without candied sweet potatoes. With lots of syrupy goodness! 😋
I agree but Brooks just wouldn’t touch sweet potatoes if you paid him. That was in our vows that I wouldn’t feed him those. 🤣
Cranberry sauce is definitely a must but the question is homemade or canned? My mother would have both because growing up some liked canned and she preferred homemade. Love the video!!
