This past Sunday an out of stater pulled a gun on a local that was already set up on the ice. Same thing, the entire harbor was up for grabs, but the out of staters chose to try and set up 10 yards away. The local brought their bad etiquette to their attention, which resulted with them becoming aggressive and pulling a gun. Cops arrested the POS FIB.
Some people act like they dont have common sense to justify there stupid actions! I try to ignore them best I can but sometimes it’s like they ask for it.
I know, for a matter of fact, people can the whole lake and other spots but I know with my family myself there’s certain parts of lakes we like to fish and sometimes on the lake we like to fish there are other people in the area now they weren’t fishing right next to you which it could’ve been a simple mistake with them not noticing that they were your holes because it didn’t look like you guys had a rod in one of them I know when me and my grandpa go ice fishing and there are holes already there that have no rods. We sometimes tend to take those holes so really I think if it’s a public lake then why does it matter if they’re not right next to you?
I was still setting lines in those holes and at one point they were setting up 5 ft from one of my tip ups. When they first got there they had an attitude and were talking crap because I got their first which is what set the tone.
Also they were ALOT closer than it looks. Look how big the bucket looks. They were only 30-40 ft away and inside my set. GoPro wide angle makes it look further.
All that lake and set up next to you. Thats messed up. Im guessing he has no clue where to fish but damn right by you. He could of at least asked you if he could fish there. Wow
He could have honestly set up right next to me and I wouldn’t have care but they pulled up all mad that I was there before them and then started hoping my holes while I’m still setting lines
I dunno that lake or spot but I know some of the spots I fish, people just pile up cause the spot is "the spot". But you're right, etiquette says if there's someone there you should move on... or at least ask

Normal people would stay away from a spot that was already being fished on a big empty lake. They are fishing not looking for friends. Go to a bar if you want to share beer and compare t t sizes.
I'm sorry , if your fishing your hole , why does it matter were anyone else are fishing? You can't fish all your holes , at once? I get if there under 15ft or less from you

Its bluegills...... try fishing anywhere in southern Wisconsin and you gish right ndxt to guys when you are in the blue gill spots! Get over yourself.... its just bluegills
