I was asked my reason for coming to the UK, why I chose my school and where I’ll be staying and my offer letter and evidence of booked accommodation.

Pls did they check a covid test result or vaccination card?… how can i get yellow fever vaccination?….also did they request for TB test results?…..lastly can u share some of the immigration questioning
No they didn’t request any of those.
They asked for my school and programme, why I chose that, where I’ll be staying and proof of my accommodation. And also the letter that came with the visa and obviously my passport

How was the experience with British Airways. I’ve been seeing only bad reviews about them
Aw it wasn’t bad at all but it’s just pretty basic
I think maybe because of how expensive it is, people expect more 😂 but I think you’re paying more for the convenience of a direct flight

I didn’t buy my tickets but I think you can do it when you’re buying or check in online
If you don’t do it online, you’ll be assigned a random seat at the airport check in

Do you have influence over your seat in the plane? Or you are just lucky to sit by a window?
Yeah you do, you can select your seat when you do the online check. With most airlines you can check in from about 48 hours before your flight.

@@liplocd okk i saw i saw a video npt yours the person before taking that trolley for d bags inserted a coin so is that thing paid for please
Yes with most trolleys here you have to insert a pound coin to take them. When you return them, you get the pound back but I don’t remember if I had to do that for the one I used.

Quick question: How long did it take to clear immigration upon arrival?

It was about 15 minutes but that was because I was with someone who had a British passport so I didn’t have to join the international queue otherwise it could have taken over an hour cos that queue was really long. The questioning itself is less than 5 minutes though
