Clive Anderson must be the Highlander. He hasn't aged a day in 20 years.

Ooh it's good to see him talking about Stalag Luft, very odd movie, not sure whether it was good, but it's good to see an interview from that time =D

Yeah, I can't see Stephen Fry hosting something like University Challenge or a chat-show.

It’s odd watching this when on an episode of QI he kept looking at the photo of the horse and said is beautiful......in a strange way

Clive Anderson is like the good talk show hosts of the 80's ..always a fan.

Here he doesn't want to present a show, and less than 10 years later he hosted QI. Ironic huh

QI wasn't your ordinary game show, and still isn't.

Worse sound and audio quality than the 1991 interview. Makes perfect sense.

I was already gone and you called me back. It's like you summoned the devil using all sorts of rituals and sacrifices only to tell him that you believe in God. What is this, A Bit Of Fry And Laurie Sketch? :L

Clive Anderson was the worst interviewer on tv. He just could not help himself constantly interrupting his guests’ flow with his idiotic comments and then finding what he had said much funnier than the story his guest was trying to tell.

    • @johnking5174

It seems you do not understand Clive, that was his trademark and why Channel 4 hired him. He was not the usual sycophantic talk show host fawning over their guests like Michael Parkinson, Des O'Connor etc. So this is his act, don't like it, don't watch. But it is not fake or ego. This is what made Clive unique among talk show hosts, he wouldn't take any shit from guests.
