If it weren't for COVID, I think Husavik would be inundated with tourists this month because of the Eurovision movie.
Бывал в Хусавике в 99-01. Хороший порт и лучший в мире музей китов. Название состоит из двух слов - Хус( дом), Вик ( бухта), то есть бухта с домом. Название произошло из древности ( около 1000 лет) - один из отрядов викингов , возвращаясь из Гренландии , построил дом для зимовки . Перезимовав, отряд ушёл в Швецию, оставив , в наказание , одного из членов экипажа. Он прожил в одиночестве несколько лет.

In fact, we are seeing an exponential increase in the number of complaints about this company. We do not recommend this company due to less honest schemes.
Except Iceland is now whaling again. SHAME!
It's looking like they'll be stopping for good. 2020 will be the second year in a row where no whales will be killed. One Icelandic whaling company has given up for good saying it's not finically viable anymore as very few people in the country actually eat it. The other has put it off for another year for the same reason but haven't given it up fully, yet. We need to show the Icelandic government that watching whales is much more profitable than killing them.
